When are the CG BB13s going to ship?

I am just going to leave a quote from my post earlier in the thread because I feel very smart now

I am going to go out on a limb and assume they are scrambling with some adjustments (possibly the regrind, but may be something else too) to the blades and that is slowing down the process.

Wish they had called about the coating here too. Definitely going to be stripping mine. Now wheres that shipping notice....
 
I am fine with waiting a few days so the shop can sort out production issues but I don't like waiting in the dark. Jerry should have posted a thread or sent out an email letting his customers know what was going on. I hope they can begin to do this in the future if similar situations arise.
 
Totally agree, first they went from .25 thickness to .22, then a problem with the coating? Isn't their Quality Control in existence? It is nice the girls took the time to address these issues, but IMHO the maker/owner should have addressed these issues to his customers-not the ladies!

I believe catching issues and fixing them before they ship IS quality Control, isnt it?
 
Lol, seriously. I would have happily had mine not coated. Wish there was a naked option.
 
Glad everyone over there in Ohio is working hard to produce the finest possible product!
They sure don't cut corners!

The pride that they put into their blades translates to pride of ownership

Agree, I prefer quality product. We all know that Busse will send them our way when they are sure the knives are up to their standards. We then have all of our lives ahead of us to use them, +/- several weeks delay mean nothing.
