When are the CG BB13s going to ship?

Remember what your opening when you unbox these beasts. Mine arrived with the tactical sheath sliced completly open, its a tacital cardboard taco. Was only held on by the shrink wrap. No injuries. Good thing I make it a point to surgically remove the paper.

I've never dreamed about a knife that I can remember, but last night I had a dream that I rolled out of bed and saw the tan and black BB13 being there and picking it up and slowly realizing it was a dream, but it felt very real for a moment. Fast forward to the present:

Two more views. All I can say is this is such a beautifully balanced and powerful blade, surprisingly nimble and puzzlingly balanced.

What I want to know is what kind of sorcery did Jerry use to balance this knife ? Looking at it you'd think the front half weighs much more than the back. Which defies logic as the back half is narrower and smaller. By my imprecise measurement, it balances about a 1/3 inch forward of center.

Great photos and awesome knife; however, having a balance point ~4.5" in front of the handle makes the knife very blade heavy (not balanced in the traditional sense of the term).

Thanks for pointing that out, helps to be familiar with norms and terms which I'm not :)

It feels amazing in the hand, I swear it feels lighter and nimbler than my MMD while being a good bit more knife.

No problem brother. It does feel amazing in the hand, it's an awesome chopper for sure. I really like Mountainmandu's too.

Yeah, I don't think one can have too many good choppers, glad I got this one in my stump for now :)

Zombie, that looks great buddy!

Yup...Decarb removal and Sandy Saturday is what I'm calling it. Much whiskey will be needed later....all mine is being done with elbow grease....so...as 13oss Man says...
LET'S DRINK!.............and sand.......Drink and sand.....Drink and sand......ummmmm yea...elbow soreness.....no pain no shiny INFI....the 13 LIVES! More pics to come later....got runnin to do...then the drunken sanding continues.

-Zombie...
Looks awsome, this will be my 1st Busse stripper, I like that the handle next to ricaso is flat, unlike ASH-1, should make it easier, and no Skull Crusher to worrie about

-Zombie Dude lol
Did you notice the finish under the coating any nicer than other strippers ? (Because of surface grinding).

Not at all actually....I may have been left out of that round. I'm not worried at all about it. There are quite a few tooling lines that almost look like that Busse hieroglyphics that we've seen before on other's. One of them almost looks like a "Z" which I think is super awesome. I'll get pics up later. On the other hand I could have ended up with the one Amy-O cut her finger on and she tossed it into the grinder and it flopped around a bit....lol. I'm stoked about this blade and love the tooling marks actually....they make it one of a kind to me. I hope to see other BB13s so I can compare.

My buddy brought his over today. I guess after getting used to the ASHBM it's not such a big knife after all. I guess in my head it seemed larger. I must admit it seemed very lively in the hand. Can't wait for Wednesday to get here. Cmon Wednesday.
