Probably a sound tactical decision. Dude knew he couldn't show up and pretend he was a super pro-American knife maker after the (candidly) disastrous revelation of exactly how many of his products are made in China. People would be coming up to his table the entire show to confront him, to drive traffic to their Youboob channels.
