Where are all the Cheburkov Knives??

A little Googling will reveal one German firm and one Finnish that are authorized Cheburkov dealers. I bought both mine from the German firm, they were easy to deal with by email in English, and both transactions went very smoothly. The Finnish firm offers a broad selection of Cheburkovs, has excellent prices, fast free shipping, and their site is easily navigable and understood for English-only speakers.

That Finnish site was the first that popped in to my head, and they are great. Only site I've used the last year.

I have a toucan i love. I contacted Aleksander about the pivot tool...he told me it was designed to be disassembled with a coin.
Havent tried yet. But a great idea.

A flat head screwdriver should work.

I was thinking the same thing, b00n, maybe with a wrap of electrical tape.

I too have a Tukan bought direct from Alex, excellent quality at a fraction of the cost of a shiro.

Only downside is he doesn’t accept PP
Only wire transfer or western union.

I’m currently waiting on a custom order for a 3.5” Scout.

The Eastern European/Russian makers need to do more to tap into the North American market. Manly, for example, from Bulgaria, has an office in Pennsylvania with an English speaking associate and a user friendly website in English, with good customer service directly through them. Makes dealing with them very easy and straightforward. Don't know why the others don't follow this model, to better take advantage of our buying power and spending habits.

If they are already selling more than they can make then they have no real incentive to expand.

I recently purchased a scout from the Finnish site... Easy navigation and seamless pay function... Well worth checking out... Oh, and the knife is too quality... rivals Shirogorov in many ways...

I'am not sure that flat head would not damage the pivot screw.Maybe some other way?

Just add a little strip of tape. Unless the pivot is drenched in red loctite you will apply enough torque. It's a knife pivot not a 600nm center lock wheel. ;)

Manly Bulgaria has stopped using the Pennsylvania based outlet.

I ordered this Cheburkov "Kori" #31/100 five days ago from a company in Finland and here it is. Feel, fit, finish, and workmanship is impeccable!

Wish I could find a Cheburkov "Dragon" at a good price.

How abut fixed blades? My Dragonfly from Che :)

I find my custom Cheburkov Scout much more appealing than my only Shiro. It has a more "organic" feel, somehow subtle despite having a polished damascus blade and timascus clip & backspacer. It is an exceptional cutting tool, and melds with my hand in a way I never would have guessed. Closest comparison in overall impression is the remarkably dissimilar Rockstead Shin I once owned.

Do you all think they would be any problems if a man had to send one of his knives back for repairs?
