I haven't heard a definitive answer on the brass versions yet.

I was going to opt for an ebony 303, but after reading about granadillo wood I decided on that instead. Stopped by the local knife shop yesterday and asked the owner to make sure he had one for me in his next order.

In both 2025 301s I've bought, the Spey blade catches on the Sheepsfoot blade when you open and close the Spey blade. You can both feel and hear the Spey catching on the Sheepsfoot. When opening the Spey blade, you must exert a little extra force get it past where it catches on the Sheepsfoot. On one of them, the Spey would catch on the Sheepsfoot when trying to close and it would not close all the way. Both have been sent to Post Falls for warranty work.

Hoping, I've just been unlucky and bought two that slipped past QA ... and not something wrong with the redesigned blade order.

That should not happen with a 3 blade/3 spring knife :(
