Where are the new 301's & 303's ?

These were not sold by the BCCI. Maybe you bought them from Buck directly?. Just want to clarify to all those contacting the BCCI to purchase. Thank you very much!
I apologize if I caused any headaches and will stop referencing BCCI. Is Larry no longer associated with BCCI?

Gray finally showed up. Now I’ll need an ebony as well. This will be a nice workhorse. Nice and snappy. The spey blade tip sits slightly proud when closed but otherwise no complaints, especially for the price point. Nice job, Buck.

In both 2025 301s I've bought, the Spey blade catches on the Sheepsfoot blade when you open and close the Spey blade. You can both feel and hear the Spey catching on the Sheepsfoot. When opening the Spey blade, you must exert a little extra force get it past where it catches on the Sheepsfoot. On one of them, the Spey would catch on the Sheepsfoot when trying to close and it would not close all the way. Both have been sent to Post Falls for warranty work.

The first of my two 2025 Stockmans I sent to Post Falls for warrenty came back today. Whatever was making the Spey catch on the Sheepfoot, they fixed. All three blade move freely and have a solid "snap" when you close them. They also did some light lubrication so the blades open very smoothly. While the Stockman was "factory sharp" when I sent it in, they did something, maybe just honing, but it came back "super sharp."

Very please with Buck's factory service. Hoping the second one comes back just as good!!!

It looks like the 301 stockman in wood page is no monger listed on the Buck website?

Go to the Buck Knives website. Click on "Shop Knives", over on the right side of the selection page click on "New Products". There you will find the 301 and 303 knives in wood. Remember, they are new products.

When you actually try to click them this happens:

Just in today. I wasn't expecting all this. I thought it would just come in the ordinary black/yellow box.

The blades all open and close the way they should. When opening the spey, I do push it inward enough to very slightly catch on the nail nick of the sheepsfoot. The old design doesn't do this. It's a nit, but it's there. All the blades are tight. Walk is ok. Probably benefit from use and a flush and oil. Snap is fine. I have no complaints.

The springs look really gappy:

When holding up the light there is very little coming through. I expected to see a lot of light peeking through. Maybe its grunge that will flush out and let the light shine through 🤷‍♂️

Anyway...I like the knife. I mean it's a 301, for gosh sake. If you don't like the 301, there's just something wrong with you 😛

Mine arrived yesterday and I admit I like it more than I thought I would. It looks like there are some small gaps in the liners, but no light shines through. It needs a good flush but overall the action is pretty smooth. It's a 3 spring knife with no liners, and the blade stock is the same thickness from tang to tip as shown in my third pic. This doesn't create a problem, at least not for me, and they open and close pretty cleanly with only a hint of the spey touching the sheepsfoot when I push on the nick to open it. I wouldn't even call it a rub, it's really not bad at all.

This was going to be a shop knife to toss in the toolbox that would occasionally come in contact with harsh chemicals so synthetic was ideal, but I think I'll add it into my carry rotation. It gets a thumbs up from me. 👍
