I don't have a dog in this fight, but you have been more than patient on working out a solution. Seems like it's a stare down to see if you're going to take it up a notch.
 
Done. I filed my complaint. Here`s the detail of it:

Marion Poff and I entered into an agreement via eMail for him to manufacture for me a custom sheath tailored for a $500, US fabricated custom knife (a ''Basic 11 Busse'' custom knife). I shipped Mr. Poff the said $500 knife, which he acknowledged receiving on July 13, 2011. This was the last time Mr. Poff communicated with me. Calls, voicemails, emails remained unanswered to this day. I have no information as to what Mr. Poff did with my property. It is possible that Mr. Poff may have sold the knife for his own benefit, effectively stealing what belongs to me. Several others have suffered the same experience with the individual.
 
Welcome to the club......hopefully, more will join us and keep the pressure on this guy until all is settled.

Spread the word on other forums, more compliants need to filed for this to effective.

Where did you come up with value being $500.00?
 
Almost two months and this guy has not responded. Why is he still permitted to be an active forum member? Shouldn't members like this be weeded out. Forums like this and others rely on the honesty of it's members to remain successful. Members like this hurt the whole process.
 
That's what this forum is for: caveat emptor, let the buyer do his homework.
Get a conviction and he is history.
 
Jeepin: $500 is my loss so far on the B11 due to Mr. Poff not returning it. Original cost + shipping+customs, plus another shipping to Mr. Poff....

Im sorry that this has happened to you:(. He seemed like such a nice guy. I dont know what he is thinking. I hope you get your knife back
 
Guess I'm not the only one. MDP has about $1200 of my Busses that I sent to him on good faith back in 2010. I've emailed him requesting them back, no reply.
 
man this is the first I've heard of this, to be honest I liked Marion he seemed like a stand up guy, been here forever too..

I haven't but skimmed the first page or so, but thought I'd add to the madness..

Hypothetical: lets say hes really going through a major struggle that not only affected his dad but his own health as well and hes unable to post.. sad I know...

but its still no reason a person couldn't communicate with another within hes reach to get you all your money and knives sent back to you, there is NO EXCUSE period...

we all go through major bumps in the road of life, some are bigger then others but no matter what happens you can always break ties with business dealings and continue through your struggle, come back after a breath of fresh air and all is well...
