Where in the world are you?

Does anyone else attach dialects to certain posters.
Tennessee twang, southern drawl, new york bark?

Tho the few posters that I have met have never sounded like I imagined I still do it sometimes.LOL

find a pic of indiana. now try to make it's little toe go, "wee wee wee all the way home". that's where I be:)
actually, it's just east of the toe. however, i grew up in last town wedged in there between the Ohio river and the Wabash. you could throw a rock from the river bank and hit KY (well an island that belongs to KY;)), then drive about 7 miles up the road, cross a scary bridge and be out in the middle of nowhere IL.
Good ol' Mt. Vernon Indiana:) Population around 7,400. Fun fact for you, back in the days of the cold war little MV had a small little plant that made some key components for nukes. Cases I think. I think it was said that the little town of 7,400 out in the middle of nowhere would be where the 5th Russian A-bomb would fall. That's the myth anyway;)

The glorious snow-buried and heatwave-melted capital of Canada, where it's not summer unless it's 30 degrees in the shade and it's not winter unless it's 30 below and the snowbanks are taller than you are.

On the plus side, I think I'm prepared to live most anywhere else in the world, now.

Edit: those degress are in celsius, eh? ;)

where is Bucktown?
I live in central Illinois, in flatlands.
I am east of Bloomington, and south of Bourbonais....
East of Decatur, and lost in the prairie.

Why don't more people post their location in their profile? Even a general idea is better than nothing at all. When I don't see a location, I find it harder to take the person seriously. Anybody else feel this way?

I'll throw one back attcha.

Why don't people use their name instead of a forum nickname?

I never have been able to figure that one out.

Because the first thing people do is google your name.

Obviously, I ain't the ex-mayor of Salt Lake City, so.....

You can see how it could get embarrassing quicklike.

Cheers,

Ted Wilson

P.S. if you do a search for "ted wilson fashion" I'm at or near the top of the page.

Geographically speaking, NEPA. or as Ashes would say North East Pennsylvania.
