Now to let u guys in on the real secret of why I stumble back in here. Ive been saving for a grail knife and I'm trying to find a user. Xm 18 3.5 spanto. Just had a monster stor, and raked in a boat load of overtime so in the next week I'll finally have the blade I've wanted for years. So psyched. Now to just find one.....

You mean like this one...:D

Yes. Everyone I'm finding has bright colored scale. I want a fde or od preferably. I will settle for a black though. I don't get this whole bright colored handle anodized trend.

I'm not a fan of the bright colors either.
The dark green is nice too.
The scales pop up in the exchange all the time. Usually $35-$45

it's a helluva knife. You'll love it.

I've got my eyes on the Spyderco Rassenti Nirvana right now... That looks like a sweet blade, and designed by a Blade Forums member to boot.

Yes I found a bunch new. Hoping to save a few dollars on a user. Since it will be carried anyway. Found one on the hinderer Facebook group. Not sure of its a good price or not. Gen 4 18 3.5 flipper slightly used and slightly off center for 350. This is a whole new realm for me and there is so much little details. Two knives that look identical to me one is 375 and one is 700. Crazy town

Anyone else into picking locks? Been dabbling in lock sport the last few months. Really enjoy the puzzle. Here is my edc kit built from all sparrows stuff.

interesting set. should get one :D

there was a guy in MA that was doing the whole "locksport" thing, collected $$$,$$$ for a kickstarter, and then ran away with the money and no product. was supposed to have some good stuff. he claimed "nerves" and quit. bad juju.

yeah, it's a fun thing to do at parties.

I never got the hang of picking. I bought a nice set too. My line of work it could have saved my property hundreds of dollars every couple of months. Now there is bump keys .... damnit.

Mmm high end folders. I need to leave before it sparks my apatite again. :D That ZT 0804 has me looking pretty hard. Its a good thing I have no budget right now :D

Guess he decided grifting was safer than B&E. :D

I put together a set about a year ago that I have used fairly successfully, dabbling here and there.

So that's why Derek has been absent lately.... He got caught picking the wrong lock!

:D

I tried a friends set in the army, never got the deadbolt open though.

Anymore it would be like doing paracord trying and fancy knots... Lots of time, stiff fingers and hands, and little reward. .... Unless your breaking laws...

I like those inconspicuous sets. Mine fits nice in my back pocket but looks exactly like a lockpick set. I also like the Southard jack knife but sets like that have awful tension wrenches. 90 percent of picking is tension and I need that feedback from a good wrench. I love flat bar wrenches. Top of the key way or standard. My set has flat bar combos with comb picks and cylinder wrench as well. Haven't found a pin tumbler I couldn't defeat yet. Although there have been some epic battles

So you started with burglary before working your way up to kidnapping and identity theft, Mr. Uzbeki Scammer?

I got my sleeve from Nix yesterday... HOLY JEEZ this thing is AMAZING! I'm absolutely in love with it!

HI GUYS! In on... whatever this is... 4? 3? Whatever

I have a lock pick set as well (YAY Part of the "in crowd") padlocks and door knobs aren't too hard. Haven't done any dead bolts just yet but I will. I got some good instruction from Chance last time he was at Ethan's so that was nice to get the hands on explanation. I'm in the same group of guys that have the Southord as it was just a starter set. Eventually I will get some better ones I'm sure. I just haven't as of yet.

See ya guys on Monday

(Welcome back clich! It's good to see you around!)
