We went to Sticky Fingers in Myrtle Beach a few weeks ago...friken awseome place...ordered half a rack, they brought out a full! Waitress said don't worry about it! Atem all...

ETA: just remembered... A few months age here in Durham, I ordered a full rack, they brought a half...of course that wasn't gonna slide...

Looks like everyone went out and fired up their smokers and put some ribs on. I guess the snark will pick up as soon as the ribs are done.
 
I've been working this weekend. Is everyone still alive and ok? They're hasn't been much chatter goin on round here...
 
Tried to take the kids for a walk this morning. Wine the entire time, they did. I need it to be the end of next month already so I can go on vacation.

Do they get happy when they drink? Or do they get mean? Sounds like mean.
 
mix the wine 50/50 with ginger ale -- sweetens it up a little so they slurp it down faster and the sugar helps the wine hit faster.
 
Heck, crumble in some Benadryl and it'll be like emotional roulette. :p
 
Great ideas. My 18 month old has done nothing but scream at me this morning. If it continues, some liquid sleep may be in his future.
 
A light tap with a wooden mallet works wonders, but you have to be really attentive to head speed.


Disclaimer: I've never tried this technique personally, but it sounds like it would work. YMMV.

I'm right there with yah buddy. My wife is out of town for a few days and it's just me and the kids. So far my daughter has done her very best to inform me how much she dislikes this arrangement.

The kiddos, a buddy, and I did get to go hit up some new found possible knife sources yesterday (flea market, antique stores etc). Found a little hole in the wall surplus store that carries moras and a few KA-BARs. Not to mention they actually price them correctly! On a whim I picked up a glock 78 field knife as they had it priced really cheap. The edge was ground as thick as a brick but I fixed that. It's a tough little sticker, kinda fun for how much it cost.
 
For as much as they are awesome, sometimes they do test the limits of your patience!

I ended up giving the little guy some advil, and snuggled him. He seems fine now. :thumbup:

espresso with sweetened condensed milk works wonders on kids under 4.
