Where Yall From?

I have the rare honor of being a native Californian, who has lived here all my life, except for 5 years in Nebraska (where the warmest, most wonderful people in the world reside), to go to pharmacy and medical school. I grew up in a house where my bedroom faced the Pacific Ocean, only about 150 yards away, and was lulled to sleep by the surf every night. Even as a sarcastic young kid, I realized how wonderful and lucky I was to have the things I did.

If any of you would like to visit, just contact me. I now live about 30 mi East of San Francisco, and, being retired, have plenty of time to entertain. Walt Welch
 
Spend the last 10 years here in Cerritos, California. What a beautiful city! So close to the beach, and mountain too! Not to mention all those nice smogs. It was cool to know that this city used to be a cow farm. Nice, huh?

Hello good people, A.T. here. I was born in Dallas, TX and lived in Texas for almost 48 years. The last 5 have been in the beautiful Blue Grass State, Kentucky.
 
Corn fed and inbred in SE Nebraska my whole life. 0-19 in Nebraska City, Lincoln ever since.

G'day all,

This is my first visit here, been off chasing the last of the spring snow for the last week and missed all the action (had a bit of action as it happened, 2 days of blizzard). Anyway as you can guess from the season I'm from downunder, Sydney, Australia. Any other Aussies here?

I was born in Kajaani, Finland in 1979 and lived there until I was about 7 and then moved into this
small place (about 12000 inhabitants, I hated it there) between Oulu and Kajaani. Lived there for 2 and a
half years, then moved to Oulu, where I have been ever since. This is about 100 miles from Kajaani. I will probably move abroad in the future. Time will tell, when and where to.

Boy of all the people posting here there are no others from the New England area? We don't have much in the way of good knife stores or shops have to depend on the mail order houses for that.But the N.E area has some great custom makers.Norm Bardsley,J.D.Smith,Jot Khalsa and Larry Fuegen just to name a few.
