Which Benchmade are you carrying today?

mine’s a 9555 auto rift, so honestly i think i’d be pretty upset if it dropped shut. blade centering is great tho IMG_2032.jpeg

my son has a manual 950 but he likes his pivots tight enough that it takes a bit of a wrist flick to close the knife. does the same with his 550

Oops... He who pays attention clearly has the edge 😁

To me the Rift is a beefier 940. Mine will off to BM soon, so I can enjoy using it.

Just got these two in the post today, my first Benchmade knives.

The Mini Presidio is in my pocket right now.

I haven't been over this way in quite some time, despite the fact that I often have one of a couple dozen BMK's in my pocket. I got this one earlier this month to go along with my 800 and 806BK, have it out pretty much every day and in my pocket more than a few times. I'm definitely in love with this 806-1101. Sorry, can't help but show off a bit....

Beautiful knoif!

Beautiful knoif!
Thanks, man! I really like those scales on your Mini Barrage. I've left mine stock as it was a gift from my wife, but de-assisted my 581 and converted it to open back with simple standoffs. What about your mini?

It's stock except for the scales that I just received. I'll probably keep it "assisted" for the time being. I have a couple of 580's that will have new scales. Trying to see if the maker would entertain giving some stabilized wood a whirl. If he agrees to it, I'll give it my epoxy then tung oil/urethane treatment. Wood becomes impervious to H2O.
