Which do you like better? Your Opinion/Contest

In some burls, I feel that there are too many eyes, and they are too small, so there does not even appear to be much figure. I'm going to have to go with #2 due to it SHOWING figure.
 
#2 edges out #1 for me because of the sense of motion it imparts - makes for a pretty handle.

#1 is a very close second though...
 
Number 1 for me. Mostly because I like smaller folder knives and it wouldn't be overcome by the activity in the burl.

I love both, but vote for #2 and I think it's mainly because it's something different than what you've sold before. I think offering some different varieties from time to time would be appealing.
 
They are both gorgous in thier own rights, but like Mr. Mercier
said I would go with #1, its a little more what I think of when I think burl. Although I like the figure in #2, unless it was in the hands of a compatant maker, I think a lot of its beauty would be lost
 
#2 for sure. It shows a unique aspect of some redwood.

Stuff with eyes is common place and can be had anywhere.:p
