Which folder for Skinny Jeans?

4 alternatives that were not yet mentioned. They are all very affordable:

The Boker Plus Trance and (bigger blade) M-Type. Clever, very flat and thin framelock designs by Chad Los Banos. Really pretty sweet.

The traditional way, very very cool knives:
- The French Douk-Douk, scarily sharp and very thin slipjoint, and so much character:

- The German Mercator knife, a very thin and very sharp backlock. It's possible that your grand-grand-father carrier this, and it's still being produced:

EDIT: if these knives seem attractive to you, well I have made short video reviews about them, so you can see them in the hand etc. Here is a clip about the Bokers, and here is a clip about the Douk-douk and Mercator.

When it comes to modern designs, I agree with the recommendation of the Spyderco Stretch, I do prefer it over an Endura (which is lovely as well).

Buck has a slimline series. I carry the prince all the time, dont even know its there.

If the BM 710 is too thick or long, consider the more rounded and smaller Buck #347 Vantage Pro in S30V. Smaller still, with a nice VG-10 blade, is the Kershaw 1993-2 'Gentleman's Folder', if you can still find one. Judicious shopping could land you one of each of the latter two for what the 710 D2 runs - but it is one heck of a knife.

As soon as Omar the Tent Maker finishes his latest blimp bag orders, he has promised me some tight fitting jeans. I plan on carrying a Buck 110 - or B-M 630 Skirmish...

My little brother wears skinny hipster jeans and quite likes the Kershaw Skyline I gave him to use at work.
And I'll cast my vote for the Spyderco Rookie g10, thin, light and packs a lot of blade in that little handle!

I find the Boker Subcom series to be pretty slimline.
As a skinny jeans bonus; fits in your coin pocket.

What about a nice slip joint? A small one will fit in your watch pocket.

Yes!

I'm a big Douk-Douk fan myself. The medium and small would probably fit the OP's bill.

Unlike the one in your video, none of mine were terribly sharp out of the box, but that's no big deal... I know how to sharpen. And yours has a stainless handle? Interesting to see one in video.

Yes, I think mine was part of a limited series.
Douk-Douks work surprisingly well, and they are cool.

Most Spyderco knives are usually plenty thin (I wear skinny jeans all the time); my Paramilitary sees lots of pocket time because of its size & shape. I also have a Kershaw Ti Bump that is nice and slim.
Pretty much any of the Ti frame lock knives that are available currently should be thin enough.
But... I'd look into a stainless Spyderco if I were you.

Edit: I'll also toss in another recommendation for a Ti-Lite. Mine sees lots of skinnyjeans pocket time due to its slim profile as well.

carry a large opinel in your front pocket and become surprisingly popular with the ladies.

Ahh, see that's a problem... front pocket carry detracts from maximum package display. ;)
That is, unless maybe he needs a boost....! :o  :foot:
