Which knife do you like that others...well, really don't?

Kershaw "Needs Work"

That's what a lot of people say about it's design, but personally I think it's a great knife. It fits very comfortably in my hand and the straight edge of a blade makes it a great work knife that always "Needs Work" :D

My CRKT razels...quickly becoming my go-to EDCs, my folder and ringed both. Love them.

Really decent steel, take and hold a razor sharp edge and sheeple friendly blade profile. Oh and tough as nails, both of them.

My Queen Premium Hunter fixed blades. A little tough to sharpen but a great knife at an even better price.

I don't feel a lot interest out there for the new CRKT Onion Eros but I think it fills a pretty useful niche' and is not a cheap quality knife. I agree it's over priced considering other knives you can buy for $125 but it's a pretty nice knife that weighs almost nothing while still filling the hand pretty nicely. It's like a (relatively) hand filling mini -folder that isn't mini at all. It's pretty much as long as a Sage 2 when deployed. I carried mine in golf shorts that I don't wear a belt with this weekend and it was 100% unfelt in my shorts with my divot tool/ball marker right next to it. I like it for what I bought it for.

Agreed, but IMO, the Eros is also a very good value for a solid titanium frame-lock with an IKBS flipper, excellent blade geometry, spot-on ergos and near 'mid-tech' fit & finish. It's a real finesse design, a great cutter and a breath of fresh air in a market filled with overwrought folding pry bars.

Agreed. I got one in the old school carbon V (which I think is 1095 high carbon steel) and love the knife. Great beater blade. Dead simple and the cheap, ugly sheath works well enough for me.

Love my srk. Everyone seems to hate them because they are cold steel.

The Cheaper Than Dirt Rough Use Bowie. I gave it away, and still regret it. For a <$20. FB, it's a tough critter.

The other one is my Cold Steel Spartan. Ridiculous in size, and plain goofy looking, but after I mod'd it, it's one of my favorites now.

My Eickhorn german Expedition 2000 knives. i got da combo edge and da plain.
Not to mention my Eickhorn Pohl2 . all of them made with D2

Cold Steel Master Hunter. IMO a superb general use field and camp knife. I have the older Carbon V model and I love it.
BTW Carbon V is/was 50100-B AKA 0170-6. Both Cold Steel and Becker used to get it from Camillus.

Also the Cold Steel Bushman, IMO another excellent overlooked knife.

YOU say that it is an ugly crossover between a tanto and a dagger, to big, to thick, too heavy and overpriced... But I still love my Extrma Ratio R.A.O. :p

I will offer my Cold Steel Pocket Bushman, for your consideration. I find it to be an excellent value and I have never had a problem opening or closing it.

I was just going to post that. I carry mine more often than not and have never had a lick of trouble out of it--and it's even a first-gen model! It just happens to run directly counter to what the overarching trend is in the industry when it comes to folders so I think a lot of people get taken aback by it.

Edit to add: I even made YouTube videos a while back on how to safely close it, as well as a couple of one-handed methods. Just search for my screen name and they should show up. :)

Most folks do not like my pocket knife. It is a Gene Anderson 5.5 " ATS34 blade with an acrylic pearl handle. It takes up all the room in my pants pocket.

I have two. The first is a Boker stockman. It's not as finely finished as a Case, GEC, Schatt & Morgan or vintage Hen & Rooster. It's got black delrin scales in a bumpy faux stag texture instead of stag or even bone. It doesn't close like a bear trap. I'm not even sure if it's 1095 or 1075. But it's in my pocket every day.

The second is a Kumar Karda by Himalayan Imports. Their small, straight blades tend to live in the shadow of the khukuris. But the carved wood handle offers a secure grip without restricting your grip to one or two positions. And the zone hardened 5160 is pretty tough to beat, especially in the price range. To get substantially tougher you'd have to pay custom prices.

I like the S&W/Taylor cutlery knives. Most say thay can't be to good as they only cost about $20.00. But they look cool and work just fine.

I am glad to see there are a few others on here who realize that CRKT has gotten much better than they were some years ago. Personally I love my M16-13. Not the Zytel handled one but the older one with Al handle and AUS8 blade. Secure lock-up, no play slim and comfortable to carry. Also it is pre auto LAWKS, still has the "fighting lock" just not auto on.

My Mission Knives. People say titanium sucks. But they're my favorite, simple amazing design and ergonomics. Really hard use knives...

Spyderco Spin and Poliwog... two of my favorite little big knives and two that that seem the least popular among most of the Spyderco fans. The spin was actually my first Spyderco, and got me to look past their appearances and actually try them out. I also dig Case Russlocks, even though most collectors seem to dismiss them. I just like how they open.

i love linerlocks way more than any other lock, and i love very thin, high ground knives that most consider weak.

The Blackhawk Tatang. I haven't seen a whole lot of attention paid to it other than "It's video game knife so it sucks." But it still seems like an intriguing, useful knife and I really want one.
+1
I really like the design of the Tatang. I kinda' wish BH would make a single edge version, too.
