Which knife do you like that others...well, really don't?

yeah my kershaw needs work actually sparked my interest in kershaw and while it seems most people dont seem to like the design of the knife i really liked that it seemed or at least to me like a fusion of new age tech and a japanese kiridashi

Another +1

I've had a Needs Work for a couple of years, and it is still probably my most carried EDC. I always hoped Kershaw would do a beefed up fixed-blade version, simply because I love wharnies and the position/contours of the handle are awesome.

Benchmade Hardtail 13100.

IMO it's a near perfect blend between the classic Buck 110 and Benchmade 710 but its Harley-Davidson logo/partnership seems to turn everyone off.

+1 - I like mine a lot, and the logo along with the skulls cut into the scales turned a lot of people off.

I guess is the first is the SRM710, which is kind of a love it or hate it thing....often having nothing to do with the knife itself.

The other three aren't so much that people don't like them, they just don't even really mention them.

Kershaw Storm, Boker Escape, and Boker Action 2.

I've always liked the ugly little Spyderco Toad. The thin blade makes it almost like having a little personal folding razor blade in your pocket.

Knives I like but everyone else hates? Hmmm.....I'd have to say my Sebenza, Military........oh, and my Smatchet!

But seriously, I'd have to say my Cold Steel X2 Voyager. Many think a 6 inch blade on a folder is silly, but i find it very useful. Mine has done everything from trimming threads, opening mail, and cutting food items, to acting as an emergency machete. Its also very lightweight for its size.

It's funny--the X2 Voyager was the first knife I ever bought with my own hard-earned cash. Mines one of the AUS8 models, and it's still great for all sorts of work, big or small. I just don't carry it as often as I used to since I have so many other options now! :p:thumbup:

Most folks do not like my pocket knife. It is a Gene Anderson 5.5 " ATS34 blade with an acrylic pearl handle. It takes up all the room in my pants pocket.

Well, Im not one of them! Looks really nice to me.

Buck Redpoint because it has a bottle opener. And....at about $20 if I lose it after opening a few too many bottles i'm not going to cry about it.

I grew up (30ish) years ago with Gerber - before their reputation slipped. I still have several that don't seem to suck. The LST - the older ones any way - is a sharp and light little folder and the Big Rock and Freeman Hunter both seem very solid (though of uncertain steel).

I've migrated more towards Ka-Bar / Becker for good reasons, but Gerbers need some more love.

I grew up with Gerber folders (only about 15 years ago but still) and I always really liked those knives. I may have just been young, but they seemed high quality and didn't look gimmicky. Still have a late 70s/early 80s Mark I boot dagger from my father. It's 440C, and is still a great knife, if you wanted something just for stabbing.

well I'm not sure if people hate this one but many seem to frown on a cheap folder because, well its just inexpensive and perhaps not showy..

my best folder I have is not the most expensive or flashy by any means, but its functional and I've beat this to death, I'm not afraid to use it like I would a $100 plus knife..

I've used this to cut lead roof jacks to fit !!! now that's insane !! I've used this knife for a year now..

KERSHAW SKYLINE !!!

Hmm... I really like my;

For some reason for me it`s the SOG flash 2. Don`t get me wrong, its a great blade, wicked fast deployment, an excellent deep pocket clip, but still too tactical, too flashy for me. Sometimes it still finds it`s way into my work pants.
I`m more of a SAK person.

I like the Boker Cera Titans. I have two folders and two chef knives. They are light, maintenance free, and hold an edge forever.

Heh - I *always* liked the Mk I and Mk II.

I don't understand why the Spyderco JD Smith isn't more popular.
It looks a little odd, but it is a very useful tool with excellent ergs. It's a very nice knife.
My second favorite Spydie...
Also, I'll always have a thing for my Kershaw Blue Mountain.
