Of all your knives, which did you know you would own and love, (and indeed it turned out that way), the first time you SAW it by pic or in person? Without having to touch it.....

For extra credit, name the knife you had remorse over buying but it grew on you to become a favorite....

DPx HEST/F. One of my first "higher end" folders (coming from SOGs and CRKTs) and it was everything I hoped it would be.

The Kershaw Tilt definitely I knew it seemed impossible for me to ever own one, but I thought maybe one day. Then the day came when a fellow forum member was selling one at a very reasonable price and I decided I was gonna jump on it. I never saw a Tilt at a price that low on this forum ever since so I guess it was meant to be. When I got it in the mail and opened up the package I was not dissapointed it was everything I'd hoped it would be.

Fantoni Hide. Southern Grind Bad Monkey. I fell in love with both at first sight. Neither have disappointed me.

The buck 110 has always infatuated me. I was not disappointed. Now I have 4 including a customs shop one with s30v. Also the buck 119, spyderco endura and my zt 0566. I fell in love with them all before I even got them

I would have to say my most recent purchase, the ESEE 5. I don't know what I was expecting but I got it, and I love it

Plain Jane Sebenza 21. The first time I saw one I fell in love with its classy clean lines. I hadn't heard anything about its reputation or price at that point, I just saw a picture and said "I must own that." Took me a long time to buy one, but I'm sure glad I did.

The answer to the first question is a Randall model 14.

I ordered a knife from Farid in the 90s and didn't really dig it. I still have it and it is one of my favorites.
