Which knife was instant attraction that proved correct?

The 2 knives that I just "knew" I'd love upon first seeing were the Spyderco Yojimbo2 and the BM-HK 14255 Tanto.

The Yo2 is an outstanding knife IMO. I love everything about it. Can't wait for the KW S90V version ! The BM-HK Tanto was superb as well. I keep hoping BM will reissue that knife with updated materials someday.

Zero Tolerance 0350. It was love at first sight, still one of my favorite EDC's.

Same thing happened to me. It was my first three-figure knife when I bought it a few years ago, and I remember thinking "I hope it's worth it". It was.

Love at first sight.... most recently it was the ZT 0770CF. It was my first ZT. I liked it the day I got it.

Just about anything by Bob Dozier comes to instant like. The Pro Guides knife is the most recent.

Earlier, the Endura and the Griptilian. More recently the lw Manix 2 s110v. That is an excellent tool.

Benchmade 950 rift for love at first sight, still makes me smile when I flick it out. The zt 0560 for initial buyers remorse, now my all time favorite folder.

For me, although I don't own it yet, Brous Reloader. I always loved the looks of it, until I flipped and held one in real life. I've gone through a few Spyderco's that I wanted, until I got them in hand, but this one went from sort of a dream knife to a must buy.

Of all your knives, which did you know you would own and love, (and indeed it turned out that way), the first time you SAW it by pic or in person? Without having to touch it....

Benchmade Triage. I saw it in a magazine a couple years ago and ordered one the next day. I've owned many knives costing hundreds of dollars each, and the Triage is still my most carried knife.

Busse TLGB for me. It had that classic American combat knife look, but in exceptionally good looks. When I finally received the sheath made for it, the love doubled!

I think the triage is majorly overlooked in terms of usefulness and functionality.

My two are the first rendition of the Coldsteel Recon 1 tanto and the Ka-Bar USMC. They were what I expected and more.

Ahti Tikka. Was a gift from a gent in the Trads Forum. Just a great knife. Carry it everywhere except work.
