Which knife would you choose

I'm Delica all the way. I have it in M390. If I wanted a Bugout I'd have one. The Delica will out cut and sharpen easier in my use. It carries as nice as any knife I've carried though I usually carry the larger Endura now. Unless I gave it away every Delica or Endura I've ever bought is still with me and ready for a lifetime more of use and some of them go back as far as the early 90's. I have yet to wear one out.

M390 Delica.

I have a Delica in 20CV, which is essentially the same alloy. I have other Delicas, as well. The Delica is so thin it disappears in the pocket, but thanks to the nested liners is very robust in the hand. And the pattern on the handles ensures a super sure grip. Highly recommended.,

+1 for me.....👍

I have one Spyderco. Perfection.

I have four Benchmades. Two have CQ issues. One is pretty good. One is perfect-it's a fixie.

Spyderco: One and done.
Funny, I stopped buying Benchmade after getting a Griptillian 550, bought solely because of the opening hole and because I wanted to try a BM.

I have four Spydercos, aching for more, they're just perfect, the Griptillian feels like a cheap toy from China. Go with the Delica OP :)

I've owned multiple variants of both knives, and they're both great. Not really a wrong choice here! If you count the Salt 2 as a Delica, then I still own a Delica so that gets my vote by default.

I prefer the Benchmade 940 to both models, and the Spyderco Endela to the Delica specifically.

Have had both for a long time. I like them both, but the ergos are better for my hands with the Bugout - the Delica leaves my hand feeling a bit scrunched.

I handled one at a store a few years back and it's the only pocket knife that ever felt like a toy to me. Flimsy and cheap, like it's something you buy from a 25-cent machine. I know the knife is incredibly popular but I couldn't get over that feeling.

Getting the aluminum grip makes a big difference in that feeling for me. I have both versions and they feel like completely different knives.

Same with the Hogue Deka. I know it's not cheap, but it just feels so cheap. I replaced the grips and it made a world of difference.

I have a Bugout. Paid way too much for it back in the day but it’s the only folder I haven’t sold and actually use as I’m mainly into fixed blades. I second the Deka; better steel and lower price. One thing to note is that BM’s omega springs are crap. With moderate/low use I had mine break after a year and had to replace them with 24 gauge wire ones I made cause benchmade doesn’t sell after market ones. Just food for thought. I suggest a Gerber Fastball if you want s30v, made in US, but better scales (aluminium) and more reliable locking mechanism (liner lock).
