I use everything I own. Atm that is about 35 folders and 30 fixed blades. When I get something new, I use it for a few weeks straight to learn if I like it (if not, I sell it).
For the last 4 weeks, its the Oberland Arms Titan Sepp for edc and even heavy cutting and the Lionsteel M7 for everything outdoor. Both are keepers, for sure.

The newest one.
You beat me to it!

I’ve pretty much settled on folders - a medium CS Talwar at work and usually my ZT 0560 off duty, but I am prone to giving my newest fixed blade the most use.

My favorite knife to use however (Chopper/Fighter by Bill Siegle) isn’t my newest but it is my heaviest. I’ve used it for trail clearing probably about a dozen times since I got it, and I’ve only sharpened it twice even though it’s been through some very hard/dense wood like this dead, dry Madrone:

Edit: Forgot to note that I use almost all of my knives as often as possible.

My EDC is a Leatherman Wave. clip-carried in my right rear pocket. It is handy there, but a bit feels heavy there.

I have been looking for a belt pouch that will mount horizontally that has secure retention.

On more formal occasions, I carry a Hen and Rooster folder that looks like a pen when clipped in my suit coat inner pocket.
Someone asked, so here it is: I often walk with a cane now. I like the LM Wave because I can deploy either blade with one hand while still holding the cane.

I have been given a large Spyderco folder but find it awkward to open with the thumb hole for some reason. I'd like to own something like a CRKT M-21 (an easy opening "flipper") but with better quality blade steel and higher quality execution.

Um I would say all of them. I only have like 6 knives. Out of the 6, two are cheap 20 dollar knives that I use here and there. Not alot. The other 4 are 2 fixed blades and 2 folders. The fixed blades are more camping and doing work around the house. The 2 folders are my EDC. When one gets to dull that stopping won't bring it back I use the other. Allows more time between sharpening. I use to have like 20 plus knives. But when I never touched them I figured why keep them around. I am looking at a new spyderco, and maybe then sell one of my 2 main EDC to get that.

Oh forgot about my leatherman.

I use all the folders I actually carry. Always have an SAK in my pocket when I can carry a knife. That gets used the most by me and is the knife I hand people when they need a knife. My other edc folders vary from time to time but they always get used. I won't buy it if I don't intend to actually use it.

All of my knives are users. I regularly carry a serrated Matriarch wave in my left pocket. These days I'm trying to nail down my right pocket. Benchmade Claymore, utx-85 T/E, or possibly a new native chief. Left side horizontal belt 10 o'clock I carry an izula for less than ideal (I'd rather not cut that but need to) tasks. Toying with throwing my old SAK tinker in my winter coat. It's a late 1980's early 1990's model as I recall. Has the classic red sak changed in the last 30ish years? They look the same as they always have.

My fixed blade outdoor collection has grown a fair bit in the last month. (Architect 5.5 3v, Firecraft 7, white river small game, tops scandi trekker on the way, and I'm sure I'm forgetting one or two in the mix.) But when I play outside my LT Wright Northern Hunter in 3v is a guarantee. And probably a larger blade available depending on the occasion. Yard work or work / play will normally see a bushcraft black.

Sounds like a fine collection. My problem is too much weight pulls my pants down. Knife on the left pistol on the right and I have to wear suspenders

My trusty, very old, hard use Craftsman.

They're all safe queens except the Ginsu paring knife I keep in my pocket with a paper towel wrapped around the blade.🥸

In reality I use all ~60 but this Stephen Lynn S&RScreenshot_20221018_090942.jpg
and this Carl Colson giraffe boneScreenshot_20221018_091233.jpg

OP- you forgot to add "Post pics of safe queens" in the op.🤪

With my job I don’t use any of my knives for much more than light duty tasks, so I rotate thru them and none show much for wear and tear.
But one that does get used daily is the Old Hickory my wife latched onto and keeps in the kitchen…she even threw the sheath away just to make sure it would stay in the kitchen drawer. 😮
All I do is touch up the edge once in awhile and make sure she dries it after washing it.

You reminded me that I had forgotten about kitchen knives. I probably use my big, Chinese cleaver more than every other knife combined, since I do all the cooking. My folks gifted it to me, I have no idea what the brand is, but that sucker cuts like a razor and holds a great edge. It, my Victorinox Paring knife and my utility/boning knife see me through almost everything.

A good solid reinforced gun belt is a must. I carry a kahr P9 on the right and fixed blades on left for urban / suburban outings. But when in god's country I mount the 10mm or most likely .44 mag on my chest in a Diamond D holster. Lucky for me Diamond D is local so fitting is nice and easy. I may see if they can make a sheath for my northern hunter to go next to the .44.

back in the day I use to carry a bark river nebula in a tip up shoulder rig I made from Paracord. Didn't weigh much so you'd forget you had it on sometimes which was counterproductive when you needed a knife. I may do something like that for the firecraft 7 if it ends up agreeing with me.

My problem is not the belt The wife says I don’t have enough butt to hold up my pants. In the winter I use a shoulder rig. I wear a jacket of some kind in the winter
