Which knives would you NOT sell when downsizing?

I downsized to only owning a blue Benchmade Bugout, so obviously that would be my choice. As far as general advice, a good way I found to downsize is the cull the non-favorites immediately. Then from there you can try temporary periods of deprivation by putting selected knives in an off-limits area and only using the rest. See how it feels. Maybe you don't use one, but find yourself missing a particular one in the off-limits pile. After a period, adjust as necessary and see how that feels. Eventually you'll find what you're comfortable with, and you can make decisions. After you have chosen, reevaluate every so often to see if you can downsize further. In my multi-year journey I went down to 12 knives, then 8, 5, 4, 3, 2, and now I've been sitting at 1 since February.

Paypal generating 1099 forms. If you sell a knife for what you paid, or less if used, that wouldn t be a taxable event, would it? But you might have to have proof of what you paid for your knives. That could be a problem.
