Which one of these beasts would YOU choose, and why?

I have the NMFSH, but even though I wish I had a Battle Saw, given the option between the two I think the full flat grind wins me over. The NMFSH is "technically" more competent at cutting, and the nerd in me appreciates that.

In your situation, I would use the top two and figure out which one works best for my hand in real world application. That's the winner. ;)
As always sound advice from Tim, he's seems to do his homework well. I like the looks of the middle one as well but like the handle on the first one. Tough call so I say keep or get them all. :D

Man, tough choice.

Haven't even had coffee yet,,

FBM for me. Right thickness, weight, length..

Probably the FBM. That said, I don't have a Battle Saw yet, so it could be a contender. So I'd pick the Battle Saw. Then again, the NMFSH is a very cool knife, the rounded spine is very kind on batons and your hand. So it's a winner too. If I was to pick one, I would pick the Battle Saw, the FBM and the NMFSH. Because why have one when you can have three :)

Battlesaw has it all, CBT's, sawback, nice comfy handles. Best all a rounder IMHO. But then I'm biased, as I'm a big sawback fan. Not a big fan of plain knives after collecting Hortons,,, :)

CGFBM hands down. It's what caught my attention back in '08 and it's still my favorite knife 8 years later. Chops like crazy yet can more-or-less do other camp chores a smaller knife would normally be used for. The CBT and Fusion handle give it the sexiest look of any Busse to date.

I have to agree.

Haven't even held any of these, but the CGFBM is the one I lust after the most. I agree with Blade Runner 7 that an 11" version would be awesome.

Jerry, feel free to make an 11" BGFBM, but PLEASE hold off on it for 6-9 months while I repair my wallet!! Lol.

Definitely the BFBM. Just something about the blade shape and bronze color has that thing calling to me.

I've only handled the Battle Saw.... But I can't imagine the others outshining it by much, if any. It's light for size, and feels natural in the hand. Chops like a champion- I'd daresay it rivals my B11 in that regard.

The CGFBM is a super performer in my opinion. I have them all, even though I've never used the BS, but I grab the CGFBM more often than others. Love 'em all!!!

if the battle saw had no teeth, I'd say that one.

In this case the CGFBM would be my pick.

NMSH will out perform both BM and BS with fair margin because satin full flat grind is way better than CBT...

While I own a Noncoated NMFSH with hand shaped handles, that I love ----- I can say with confidence that it would not out chop the CGFBM --- not too long ago there were several videos that showed the NMFSH being out chopped by an ASHBM. The weight difference is minimal and evenly distributed throughout the knife --- so I don't see how it could out chop the rest. Edge geometry, blade profile geometry, rotational torque/velocity, weight, weight distribution, and accuracy are what make the most difference in chopping. Keep in mind that if a person has weak hands or if the knife has poor ergos, that can greatly effect the user's ability to get the chopping force effectively transferred to the medium being chopped. If the knife rotates in the hand and/or isn't firmly secured, the kinetic energy forces get displaced in multiple directions --- hence an ineffective chop

I find the balance of the CGFBM to be off for me. The FSH I find heavy for the size but it is balanced better than the FBM, IMO. I have not tried the bigger offerings, MOAB/MOABOLO yet, sofar I find NMFBM to be the the best chopper for me

CGFBM and BattleSAW are both superior-Own a NMFSH and love it also, but it will not chop as well as the CGFBM or Battlesaw-The CGFBM or FBM are my favorites, but the BattleSaw is gaining ground quickly

I have all 3. They are all great and could all for the most part be used interchangeably. To me, all three excel at chopping, but to me the fusion handle is better than the straight handle for anything but the shortest of chopping sessions. That rules out the Battle Saw. I have a lot of time in chopping with my bronze CGFBM and I love the blade, and this would be the winner for me if the blade was only going to be used for chopping. That being said, if I could only keep one of the 3 it would be the BIG finished NMFSH. To me the NMFSH has the best balance out of all of them, and you can't beat an un-coated large chunk of INFI.

For Me My First & Only Busse(BattleSaw)I Absolutely Love It♤♡!Light/Comfortable/Sexy Sauce:-)

The correct answer is ALWAYS all three...!!!

No sign of my BS yet, and my FBMs are both on the chubby side, the NMFSH is sweet. If I MUST choose (see the rule about ALL above !!) I would err on the side of caution and grab the FBM every time.

All around chopping I would go FBM as the handle seems a lot more comfortable with the e-ish handle shape.
I have chopped with a FBM several times.

For all around camp chores I would go Battle Saw.
beside looking cool, the saw will let you do pretty precision notching.
And the teeth will open stubborn Root beer bottles ;)

but for chopping The Battle Saw has more of a straight handle feel, I guess the new improved straight handle ?
It still has a little pinky bite but I have "Dave Brown" hands.

so chopping would go to the FBM and all around to the Battle Saw.

If I could only choose one................Battle Saw

plus you can make a cool sheath like this for the Battle Saw :)
(well I guess I could for any knife but it looks cooler with the teeth)
