Which one of these beasts would YOU choose, and why?

fbm. antique broze is sweet. Of the three, only one I have used is a cgfbm. is the thickness of a bs similar to a bwm?

Very similar. My stripped cgfbm is .24", the battle saw coated is just over .24". The overall length is very similar, you get much better handle ergos with the CGFBM in trade for a little more blade with the BS. Thus why I said earlier to pick the one that your hand likes best in real use.

Just to make sure we're on the same page here, if boring was inquiring about a comparison between the bwm (bushwacker mistress) and the bs, then there may actually be quite a difference (according to specs anyhow, never had a bwm). The CG is spec'ed at 3/16" thick, which is quite a bit thinner than the Battle Saws which are measuring in just under 1/4". Even the bwm le spec'ed at .220" will be thinner than the bs if they are true to spec.

One last thing I just noticed is that the pommel on the Battle Saw seems better suited to hammering tent pegs in then the rather pointed pommels on the other two

Good point regarding the flattened pommel. Doesn't get mentioned much at all with the other features hogging the spotlight. Definitely has potential for hammering with or to hammer the bs into something.

Thanks also to xx. I was wondering how it compared to bush wacker mistress.

I totally missed the bWm part, just saw BM after CGFBM... still, an LE BWM is not much thinner at a supposed .22" My LE bowie recurve variant with G10 measures .2285" on a Mitutoyo digital micrometer from the 90's, and weighs in at 23.15 oz. I don't have any CG BWM's anymore to compare.

Stripped CGFBM mics at .2395" and weighs 25.85 oz with canvas micarta.

Coated BS mics at .2465" and weighs 25.00 oz

My XXL hand prefers the CGFBM of those three.

CGFBM hands down. It's what caught my attention back in '08 and it's still my favorite knife 8 years later. Chops like crazy yet can more-or-less do other camp chores a smaller knife would normally be used for. The CBT and Fusion handle give it the sexiest look of any Busse to date.

I do love my CGFBMs.

However, Jerry has taught me that, when choosing between various INFI options, the proper answer is usually: Yes.
