Wharncliffe Wednesday : Kiwi with CF scales![]()
This is one version of military I still need to acquire. I gifted a S110V Manix 2 to my son-in-law and he’s gone a year with just a weekly strop! Impressive steel.DA170- I almost grabbed that same knife today- one of my all-time favorite. I grabbed this one instead, because I'm still trying to see how long s110v will strop back, before needing a full sharpening. So far, im impressed

Plus one on that, my friend! It's maybe the smoothest frame lock I've ever handled aside from being a stunning beauty and a helluva cutter. One of the top 5 all time!!
Damm!! Two heavyweights back to back!
I missed this version!OK,DA170 , here's the last in a row of my current 4 Millies, another KW exclusive, this one the more traditional configuration--a nested liner lock with G10 scales, but with CTS204P steel. I've never met a Millie I didn't think was a great knife whether frame, liner, or compression lock; full or nested liners; tip up or tip down; G10, Micarta, CF, or all Ti; in any of the four steels those of mine sport. I sold off a DigiCam a while back and have bought two others that I gifted to my youngest son. I'm definitely not planning to move out any of those I have and am certainly open to another variant.
