I'm becoming a big fan of K390. I have a PM2 in it currently and kinda wanted to try the Seki variants and wanted to try an Endela. The Delica has always felt too small for me. I'm really pleased with this knife. This just feels like an insane value and I'm really enjoying it so far.

Went more lightweight for sunrise carry today. I get a cool looking, but temporary cold induced patina that starts developing at around 15 degrees and gets more purple/black the colder it gets, more so on the H1. As soon as the blades warm back up the colors disappear.

I just got mine(QBall), I see what you mean about disengaging the lock. I take it the cord doesn't affect lockup negatively.

It can. You have to be slightly mindful of the direction that you're pulling it back. I had a couple issues with lock engagement the first couple of days I installed the cord, but it's been smooth sailing since. It was absolutely worth doing, IMO.
