Which spyderco is the hardest to find?

i recently purchased the spyderco impala (non guthook version) and i was trying to find reviews for it on youtube but there was only one person who made one, and it just so happens that i bought it from him here on the forums so id say this knife is pretty hard to find haha

The blue lum Chinese. I was always on the hunt for them. Believe it or not I one owned 6 at one point.

the first Jess Horn run w/ metal handle only--man, tough to find and I'd love one in PE.

I got mine from A.G.Russell years ago. They don't seem to turn up on ebay that much.

Is an aluminum Herbst considered fairly rare? I have a chance to pick one up, but close to $200 seems pretty steep.

There was one for sale here last week. I inquired to see if it was the titanium model and for $200 I had little expectation that it was and I was right, it was aluminum.
Still looking for a Ti version at a decent price.

The Spyderco Solo SO-01 knife (the one in my signature picture) was made with a special white and black micarta handle for a short period - in a yin/yang pattern. Sal said that the manufacturing difficulties forced them to stop production on this scale material quickly and only a handful are know to exist. Beautiful knives.

I think the most difficult to find is the all black stainless steel A.T.R. the all black was hard enough to get when it first released. Now its mission impossible.

Spyderco Phoenix is another tough one these days

The Titanium ATR is probably even harder to find yet. And the Ti ATR is full Spyderedge has gotten about as rare as an honest politician . The Ti ATR was virtually impossible to get even when they were in production. I never owned one of the black ones but I'm sure you're right about them being difficult to find.

Some others that were made during that time slot that are tough to find are the original SE Ayoob C-60, The Rhino Horn Lil Temperance, The Fixed Blade Temperance 1 model, and the original VG-10 plain edged, blue handled Spyderhawk. Good luck finding any of those
