Personally red/satin because its rare but i hesiated with orange/black because its somehow very attracting. And i dont like black coating much
 
I went with red/satin when I bought one because I got a good deal on it.
I like the red/black and orange/black though too.

This made me look at the prices around here and found a version using sleipner and the other D2. Which steel is better?

I ordered the green/satin first but exchanged it for the orange/satin...cool design and color imo.

Black handles are so commonplace and boring. A nice red or orange handle would liven things up.
 
After seeing Hawk's picture, I'd like to change my vote from Red/Black to the Red/Satin you went with. Great looking knife!
 
This may be a model I decided to start a proper collection with. Plenty of variety in a great package.

I was just about to post the same thing. I voted for black/red but that pic changed my mind. I may have to get one as well. :thumbup:

tho, i do like the red with black blade.
 
It's a very nice knife. If the blade had more of a point then I'd be all over it like stink on a monkey.

most of the Con's he mentions are why i wouldnt buy it. mostly because of the disassembly and the nylon washers. one thing i do like is the blade/blade shape, but to me it doesnt out weigh the con's.

i have a lionsteel TM1 carbon fiber and i love it. its got IKBS and its an integral too, i will dread disassembling it.

Im torn on the height of the blade and handle. I'll have to watch the vids. Im going through a Lionsteel kick right now due to the Round Headed Barlows coming out. I've already picked up the M4 and Opera. That red satin is nice though. :D

You've got to get one in-hand. I never paid them any mind until someone sent me one for sharpening. Fell in love with it immediately.

If you still haven't pulled the trigger on one in a couple weeks and want to test it out let me know. Happy to send you mine for a week or two, after I've gotten to carry it some myself or course. :D
 
Black and black or stonewash and red would be my votes ;)

I appreciated that and would take you up on it, but I really need to keep a budget for the Lionsteel Barlows coming out through Collectorknives. I have three reserved. I may take you up on that this Summer as long as I pay for shipping. ;)
