Which would you buy?

most of the Con's he mentions are why i wouldnt buy it. mostly because of the disassembly and the nylon washers. one thing i do like is the blade/blade shape, but to me it doesnt out weigh the con's.

i have a lionsteel TM1 carbon fiber and i love it. its got IKBS and its an integral too, i will dread disassembling it.

He's absolutely right in that review. None of what he mentions are issues for me though. I like the nylon washers just fine, I rarely disassemble my knives and if you can hang on to a smooth bone handled slippy, you won't have any trouble with the SR2 being slippery.

I appreciated that and would take you up on it, but I really need to keep a budget for the Lionsteel Barlows coming out through Collectorknives. I have three reserved. I may take you up on that this Summer as long as I pay for shipping.

I forget, is Olive wood an option on the barlows?

Satin blade for sure. Not a fan of black blades. I don't need black blades anymore, my days as a covert operator are ... nevermind.

Cocobolo. I'm hoping for another run or a different pattern. Olive wood would be great imo.

Yeah, I'm in if they go blonde. I didn't like the look of the cocobolo. Might look for a Ti on the secondary market later.

Satin certainly seems to be the popular choice. Currently a 3 way tie between black, green and red.

I just looked at the pics, then at the poll results. The only color (to me) that looks not great with the satin blade is the orange. Others must feel the same, because the orange is the only color with which the black blade garnered more votes than satin. Now I'll go back and vote red/satin.
