Who among you FISHES?

It ain't much but a neighbor needed rent money and I wanted a boat.
I think I need an orange handled filet knife to go with it.:D
It came with a ton of gear and it's dang near perfect for this river. I'll be bringing it home later and getting it ready for steelhead.

I go for primarily fluke/flounder and this northwoods knife I got off ebay is going to get some use this summer.DSC07376.jpg 6 binch blade of stainless is all you need. made in usa brass rivets and hardwood scales.

What part of Texas are you located? I am in Spring area

I grew up in Cypress, have moved around the country for work, but am currently inside the 610 loop. I am constantly bartering with my wife to sell this house and get out to Hockley, Round Top or past Conroe areas... I'm not big on the city.

I know that area well, my mom lives on Heights, I dread to go out there with the traffic. My area is building so fast the traffic is getting rough out my way, if I could I'd move further out.

Looks like an orange version of my riig.
How much to rent the Mobile home?
Does the tin man fish?

My rod and reel collection far exceeds my knife collection. I think I had 22 rods and couple more reels than that last count. Recent years find me traveling to a pier in FL or NC several times a year. I don't even mind too much if I don't catch anything. I just enjoy being out there.

Not sure about the rent. Probably not too much. Of course he fishes. It's Oregon, everyone fishes. :)

I hadn't even noticed him until I looked at the pic. I'll need to talk to the guy about him.

Do you fish the piers on the Outer Banks of NC? We normally make a few trips each year. Nothing compares to October fishing in OBX.

Cool boat Mack, gonna have it ready for some spring Coho action?

I should post a picture of the S.S. Valdez.

She is my vessel. She's a sturdy 12' Appleby Aluminum rowboat.

There was a time she was the fastest craft on Lake Camelot's upper lake, as I had a Minn-Kota 27lb thrust trolling motor on it (big push for back then). We do not allow gas motors on the upper lake.

You could almost tube behind the Valdez, and I was the first to any spot I wanted on tournament day.

That made the serious guys start putting dual trolling motors on their Rangers and Lund's lol - seriously.

Today the trolling motors are available that rival some small gasoline motors, so ....

best

I understand completely. If she'd agree to moving tomorrow, I wouldn't even pack... lol.

I miss pier and bridge fishing, when I lived on Matlacha Island off the Cape Coral, FL Gulf Coast, it was a nearly nightly thing for me. kept my tackle at the bar down the road(Berts) and after my usual beer and pastrami sandwich supper, fishin' I would go.

Heading out this morning to do some jetty fishing. Looking for ling cod, surf perch and cabazon.
I hope I don't get skunked.

Got skunked. Learned a lot though.

Sorry to hear that Mack I figured you'd be having fresh fish for dinner tonight.
