Who are You?

Hi, my name is Sean Couch, and I an a borax addict. ;)

I signed up as Laredo7mm cuz that is what I used as my Nic on other forums, but Bruce makes a good point. And believe it or not, I have thought about changing my handle to my real name before I saw this post.

But by now, not that I am well known, would people recognise my real name more than my handle?

Sean, from the great work you do, I think anyone that has been fortunate enough to see your work will certainly have no problem recogizing or remembering your name! Yes, Sir, I will certainly not forget your name.

Well, when I came up with mine, I was trying to keep a low profile and I was worried about somebody stealing my real name. Er....uh....wait....nevermind ;)

Good point Bruce, no offense to guys with nicknames, but I've met a LOT of folks at show from here with nicknames, and it's much easier for me to remember the folks that use their actual name.

Except for the Danbo bastid....there's no forgetting that guy!!! :p :D :p (espcially when he pays with those dead presidents) :D

Nick

also know as Nick Wheeler, Deuce Screensaver, Deuce Wheeler, Deuce, and the kid with the cheezy grin

Well, I use ESpy off & on as a derivative of my CB handle that was, um, thought up for me. Not that it took much thought, and I liked it because it was corny - my name's Bond.

Otherwise, I post as PS_Bond, but many people end up calling me PS...

The business aspect isn't an issue for me (yet?) - all I've been selling is Kydex sheaths over the past year (disclaimer: this is not an advert!). Just got a KMG - thanks, Rob - and now I need to practice with that at the same time as playing in the forge, refurbishing the house, breaking and subsequently fixing the Land Rover...

I *had* been tempted to break into a Monty Python routine about "mind if we call you Bruce", but you'll be pleased to know I resisted the urge.

Well in my case if you came down here and ask a few people if they know George Rebello they would say no. But if you asked them if they knew Indian George they would say YEP I know that F-head.:D :D :D

Well Wild Rose is the name of my business so.....
Full name is the sig line.

Chuck - happy new year ya'll

Mr. Bump I hate to tell you but you are getin old, but so am I:D
I got you by one month. Oh! I`m Gary Sylvester

Growing up I was tagged with a nickname at age 7, was know by that name threw high school and still to this date there's people that have no idea as to what my name is. The ll months I spent in Nam seemed like everyone had a tag, I was Frog. C rations made me fart... With a real name like mine people still don't know who I am. Is it Raymond Richard or Richard Raymond. No middle name, my Dad thought it would be less confussing. The only plus with having a name like mine is a chance of getting two pay checks for each one of me but it has never happened.

I have to agree with Bump on this one. When I signed up I used the same nik as I have on everything else, this was because I didn't know any better.Everybody knows Donna before me anyway:cool: :D ;)

I will see what I can do to change mine also.
Bruce

Since My screen name was used as an example i'll chime in here. My name is Chuck ,and my screen name is striper28 because I am an avid striper fisherman, and the legal size limit here in mass is 28in. I'll see you at the blade show Bruce!
Have a happy new year.
Chuck

And all this time I thought you just liked 28 year old strippers until I noticed there was just one p.

This a good thread Bruce. First, happy New year everyone. I crashed my computer right before Christmas and haven't bothered to pull another one out of the shop until tonight.

Many of us don't use our real names on most forums because of the constant list making. I can't tell you how many emails I get to peter nap. I have to laugh when I return the mail and remind them that nap is pan spelled backward and he grew up and moved away.

Anyway...the interesting thing about this thread is that this is a different type of forum. It's almost home and everyone is friendly. I also think everyone should know who they are talking to.

I am Don Lytton in Hanover Va.
