Who carries a Stockman

I have one stockman. Well, actually, I have another that was my Dad's, but the blades look pitiful. Not even sure what someone did to it to make them look so bad... Anyway, mine's a Buck Trio. Had to have it, being that it was a Buck with jigged bone... Still undecided on whether I really like that many blades or not. Usually I prefer single blades, and locking ones at that.



 
The stockman has always been my favorite pattern, I am learning to like other patterns, I am really liking some of the single blade patterns because they are so easy to carry, but the stockman is my go to pattern, theses are my most carried ones, I really like the Kentucky Rifleman first one the left


I am really on the fence about carrying this one its almost to pretty to carry

 
My Avatar 701 is almost too nice for me to use, so I my Buck 373 has been seeing a lot of pocket time lately. Frankly, I don't feel put off by the smaller size, as long as it's gett'n the job done. Toughest thing so far was cutting open the hair gel bottle with the spey to get to the last dollop of 'product', LOL. I do want to order up the current Case Carhartt with the awl, just because it intrigues me.

I think you ought to follow the advice written on the blade: One life to live!
Life's too short to carry an ugly knife... ;) Toss that baby in your pocket, and use it while you're still on the green side of the sod! :D
