Thanks for the additional pics, that one is definitely amazing! I doubt I'll ever have the opportunity to own one like that (especially a Bose) but if I got to pick any knife I wanted, it would be a Bose Stockman like your's.

Jeez! I was gonna post a pic of my Uncle Henry 885, but I'd be ashamed to have it anywhere near that Bose.

You and Reese have taken the crown with that shadow, Vince! What a pocket prince. Simply the best.

This one's seen a few miles. I think it may be the first knife I purchased. I like it so much I may buy one in bone.

i have a question for all you who carry stockmans and who whittle with them, does having the other blades sticking out of the handle ever make it unbearably uncomfortable to use?

I have the Old Timer 34OT and only carry on occasion, mostly in house. I'm thinking about picking up a Buck 301 though.

I picked this one up off the place that shall not be named, it's a little heftier than I normally like to carry but she sure is a looker....

Steve, no problems at all with whittling...stockman is my all-around favorite model for this and every other use.

Steve, the two are so similar that they are almost redundant. The #66 has a very slight serpentine shape to the frame, but the blades are the same in both patterns, and the length is the same as well, just under 3½ inches closed. Unless you definitely prefer an equal end cigar frame or a serpentine frame, pick the handle material or jigging you like the best. I have a safe queen #66 Calf Roper in some very rustic primitive bone that I'm fond of.

The stockman has to be my all time favorite pattern. I love and use all three blades and find it a very pocketable knife.

Here is low cost alternative, the Rough Rider Large Stockman. I also starting carrying a smaller Old Timer Stockman that I picked up on the exchange. Post up pics of your favorite Stockman!
