Why and what do you do?

I know people out there carry multiple knives daily but I don't know if it's personal preference or required for their job. This weekend I wanted to experiment with carrying my ZT 0200 and I was carrying it back pocket. I felt it would be a little awkward pulling out such a huge knife for opening a small package etc so I was carrying my Skyline front pocket as well.

I felt a little strange having both on me. Just wondering what other's experiences are.

I always carry a knife in my front pocket and a leather man on my belt, Right now it is a case cheetah, and a leatherman PST. Soon it will be a Benchmade 710 and a leatherman

I like it as it gives me options on things to use.

in the summers (when I'm not in school), I carry a BK-14 on my belt every day as well. That gets used more than anything else

I usually carry three: Vic Rambler on my keys, slip-joint LFP, locking one-hander clipped to my RFP...

I always carry 2. My CRK Umnumzaan and Leatherman Wave. One's a utility, the other a SHTF/Emergency. My Umnum serves as my "Always At the Ready."

Always carry a small SAK in my pocket, and a knife clipped in each of my front pockets. Don't really need all 3, but I can never pick just one!

I always do, currently an Adamas as a sharp heavy duty folder if I really need it, and a smaller Hold Out III as a beater/loaner/sheeple knife. Dont live in as a knife friendly place as I used to

When I'm working I carry I skyline in my back pocket. I also carry two knives on my belt a Ka-Bar TDI front left and a Ka-Bar LDK front right behind my mags between that and my belt.

When I'm off I usually have the TDI on my belt front left a medium fixed back right something like a Swamp Rat Hairy Carry or an ESEE 3. I have either a Spyderco Delica or Benchmade Griptillian in my pocket and a small SAK in my watch pocket.

I'm a little obsessed but that's why I'm here.

i usually carry 3-

a main edc folder in a pocket, a vic rambler or midnight manager on my keys and a bug as a pendant.

I always edc atleast 2 knives and usually 3-4 blade's total. Today was my Para2, Morris mini necker, Swiss key. I usually forget I even have the key on me.

I have my Buck 110 for town and city carry, and either my Buck 119 or my Bear&Son skinner (their fixed blades are much better than the reputation of their folders would imply) in the woods and at work. These knives accompany a Wenger SAK or an old Camillus-made Boy Scout multitool, which I carry mostly for their can openers.

I always carry two...I feel naked without @ least 2. I have one heavy duty to cut through the gaylord boxes that some of the product we deal with comes shipped in. I also carry more of a slicer for cutting through everything else. Lately I have been carrying my Peter R "Rapture" and my M390 Military. When my 0560 and Tanto Sebenza show up this week those two knives "may" change...I might also carry more knives. I have a neck lanyard from Eric Esmond here on the forum so I can always carry my Millie around my neck...thus freeing up a pocket. I just like to carry my knives and you never know what you might have to cut in my line of work.

I carry three.
A Vic Classic on my keyring for the toothpick and scissors.
A traditional in my front pocket.
A one-hander in my back pocket.

90% of my cutting is done with the traditional. The one-hander is for times when I don't have two hands free.

Currently 3 here, tried switching my main use EDC from folder to smallish FB, now I cant get rid of either and a bali-song for entertainment when its appropriate

Always. That's what knife knuts do. :)

Pick any two, or three, or four ... Victorinox classic and Utili-key for sure, on my key ring ... folder: Sebenza or Military or Chinook or UKPK or, or ... and a multitool: Skeletool, most often. Most of the overkill is for fun, of course, not killing!

At work I carry a SOG Flash I in my right breast pocket. It's good in front of the sheeple.
I always have a Benchmade 710 (D2 steel, plain edge, satin finish) in my right pants pocket too for all other cutting tasks for when I'm not in the public eye. It's gotta be my favorite folder of all time.

On days off I'll carry one of the folders from my collection.
Maybe a Spyderco Endura or Cold Steel AK 47. Lately it's been a 710BK.

I'd say I consider my knives to be tools and self defense weapons a distant second.

I used to EDC a 710 in my right hand pocket and a 710sbk in my left pocket as my main cutting tool.
I guess I kept the right hand 710 as a self defense weapon.
As time went on I lost that mentality.
I got sick of walking around paranoid.
If shit goes down it'll be a last ditch necessity that I pull my knife.
Now that I've had an EDC for a few years it's just something that goes in my pocket like a wallet. I don't leave home without it but I'm
less aware of it per say.

I usually have 2 on me, one in my left front pocket, one in my belt sheath on right side. Both of these are folders. I also carry two in my backpack, one folder and one fixed blade.

I carry my knife for general utility cutting purposes. I always carry a Glock for self-defense. I don't feel as though I'm paranoid; just careful.

Quite often I will carry two...that is two Traditional Slipjoints, and they will be relatively different than each other, and at other times it may be three, the third being a one hander which always used to be a Kershaw Speedbump, but I gave that to a very good friend, and now I carry a Kershaw Blur.
