Who carries more than one knife every day?

Lately I've been carrying a little rough rider bone handled lockback, it's "civilian friendly" and one of my big folders too.

I carry a folder (usually my Lonewolf Longhorn in s30v or Kershaw Lahar VG10) and then I carry a Meyerco Wharning fixed blade in my back pocket. The Wharning is a great self defense blade and I don't mind beating the crap out of it (it cost me $22.) I'm a student and an intern but I rarely encounter sheeple. Most people find it amusing that I carry multiple blades.

I also have a Ka-bar Last Ditch on my backpack. I usually use it to remove staples from reports and papers :p

I carry a ZT 0350 and my Victorinox. Mostly I just carry the SAK for it's other features.

I almost always carry 2. A Queen mini trapper in the watch pocket (small front right jeans pocket) and some kind of larger assisted/flipper/one hander in the back pocket, often a speed bump, spydie mili, or an s30v Leek.

I'm always carrying a SAK, usually a Vic Fieldmaster, and a Leatherman Squirt PS4. When and where it won't get me in trouble I carry a Spyderco Tenacious IWB.

I carry two every day, sometimes three.

My current favorites:

Kershaw Blur (zdp blade, black handle w/glass breaker tip) carried back left pocket

Benchmade Nim Cub II (3.5" fixed blade) carried OWB at 3:00

Occaisonally I will add a Ka-Bar TDI

If im dressed up I will usually trade my Blur for my Rainbow Leek.

When I'm not at home, I carry two knives. So count me in, if you include keychain knives. I carry a Vic Midnite Manager on my keychain and then my main knife, usually an old slipjoint, a large Buck Vantage pro, or a Kershaw Leek.

I only carry the main knife at home, although I'm thinking about always carrying at least one traditional and a one-hand wonder.

two minimum...a spyderco lady strung on a chain and most recently a sebenza in the rfp...up to four on site...

i normally carry 2-3. i have a victorinox classic on my keys and i carry my delica 4 ffg all the time. depending on what im doing i will sometimes throw my cara cara 2 in another pocket as more of a defensive blade.

Vic classic, Buck 309. The classic could handle all the cutting I need to do at work (cutting tape, shrink tubing, plastic stretch wrap), but the knife is facing the wrong way when keys are attached. The 309 has negligible size and weight, so I carry it for pocket jewelery and the rare case I need it to cut food. I've carried a small vantage in addition to the others, but I just feel silly with 3 blades when I could get away with one.

I've got a SAK on the keychain, and usually my Hinderer XM-18 in my front pocket. Just for kicks and to give my coworkers more knife jokes to throw at me I came to work with the XM in one pocket, ZT0301 in the other, Leatherman on my belt, SAK on the keychain, a boot knife, and a Justin King Tasker tucked in the waistband. A bit overkill...

Why and what do you do?

I carry a Leatherman Wingman or a SAK Farmer in my left front pocket
In my right back pocket I carry something like an American Lawman or Recon 1.

I carry the one hand folder because I always have. It's second nature for me to draw my knife from that pocket.
I carry the Leatherman or SAK because I tend to need tools besides just a knife.

I try to carry 2, larger folder and small sheeple fixed or folder. I don't like much of attention by cutting something in public with a 4" blade.

victorinox SAK at all times, plus a larger EDC folder on right side and/or a fixed blade on left hip for weapon retention.

I always carry a larger, heavier work knife clipped to my pocket for unsavory chores like a JYD II, a Blur, a RAT 1, etc. A knife with a good sturdy blade that is easy to sharpen.

IN my pocket, I have a smaller knife that is used for slicing and cutting. Could be a peanut, a half Congress, a small jack, or even as large as a medium stockman. I like these about as sharp as I can get them for normal knife chores.

I carry a few.

My main "utility knife" is a traditional folder or some sort, with multiple blades. Like a stockman. Something with both curved and straight blades.

My secondary "work" knife is a Spyderco Tasman Salt (plain edge). At work it's supremely useful in cutting open boxes, breaking down boxes, and opening plastic bags. Occasionally (rarely), I'll substitute the Tasman Salt PE with an Atlantic Salt (serrated).

I always have my Victorinox Cybertool 29 on me, although more for the other tools than the knife blades themselves. The multi-bit driver is perhaps the most useful thing I carry, even moreso than any knife blade.

On my keychain I have a Leatherman Squirt PS4. It has a blade, but like my SAK, that's more an afterthought considering the other tools (pliers, scissors, etc).

I also have a Leatherman Charge in my backpack. Again, more for the tools than the blades, but if needed, there's 2 excellent blades at my disposal (plus a diamond file I can use to sharpen other knives in an emergency).

Finally I also carry a Spyderco Endura Wave SE. That's the knife I hope to never use for its intended purpose.

Best of all, I can carry all of these without looking like Batman with a utility belt, or like some mall ninja decked out with tactical gear. Apart from maybe seeing the Endura clip sticking out of my pocket, you'd have no idea I had so much preparedness on my person.

Tasman salt SE back right pocket, large lefty 21 front left pocket, leatherman kick on my belt.

to the OP: there you have it, a lot of us carry more than one blade most of the time.

From Monday to Friday, I always have at least 3 knives on me - small vic in office keyring, right front pocket and fixed blade at the hip. Sometimes I clip a boot knife on just for kicks. On my duty belt there's a fixed blade (currently a scrapyard sykco 511, but it might be rotated soon) and my old gerber gator on a pouch along with a gerber multi-tool.

I am an agriculture specialist for CBP, we cut a lot of stuff every day so our knives are our most used tools. I always have plenty of me because there is always someone who forgets to bring their knife to an inspection. On weekends it's usually just one in the right front pocket, but there's at least 3 blades on my truck keeping company to the sig .40.
