Who else here hates pivot bearings?

Would you rather have pivot bearings or PB washers?

Yep, I just got a Doc Shiffer BulletProof V2. with bearings and it's not a flipper. I prefer Phosphor Bronze washers, much less wear hence a longer lasting knife.

I never really thought about it, but yeah, the two flippers I have that always give me trouble and have never flipped right are two CRKT's with IKBS, the Deviation and the Nura 3.5. I sent the Nura back and I've tried cleaning and adjusting the Deviation, but it's a bugger and still isn't smooth and needs wrist action to open convincingly.

It depends on maker, if bearings done right it will last a life time .
even if something goes wrong bearings easy to replace .
problem mostly with cheaper knives on bearings , cheaper materials , cheaper bearings , tolerance doesnt exist = problems .

then I receive used knives for spa treatment almost all the time bearing are fine .
