I just ordered a Spyderco Manix 2 G-10 with the full SpyderEdge after looking for about a year. There was one lonely Manix hiding in Canada so I finally bit the bullet and payed the $30 dollars for shipping. So I'm interested to see what must have knife everyone finally got this last year and what it took to get it.

I have cheap tastes I guess, I finally got a Mora Bushcraft after a couple years of pining for one.

My Benchmade 162 is by far my favorite FB. Got one as soon as they came out and that was it.

Never thought I'd get one of these. A definite "grail" knife to SAK collectors.

I was gifted a ZT 0560BW, with Elmax steel no less (not sure if it comes in other configurations). Not only is it the coolest knife I own, but it was free thanks to a forum friend.

I've wanted one ever since I saw one.
I never could afford it until I got my new job.

I marked off a major one on my "want" list Saturday at a local gun & knife show.

Sir, that is one hell of a knife. I really want one.

They really are amazing knives. I carried on for almost a year. Also got my dad one to carry. Its like one of those knives that feels like you could beat it through a cinder block and just sharpen it back up and good to go.

I waited about 10 years to get a custom Gunhammer and found this one a few days before the end of 2014.

This was a 7 year wait that was completed in May 2014. It took me that long to save for it. It took around 6 months for Vince to make it. Kinda odd that a person who carries and collects slipjoints for the most part has wanted it for as long as I have.
Other than his wife Grace carving the handle, the forging, inlays, engraving, grinding and build are by Vince Evans. Photos by Jim Cooper
