Who got dinged for their gso 5?!!

I know everyone really wants to get their 5's, I totally get it.

I do remember when I ordered mine that they stated that because this is the last run ever, they didn't want to have a bunch of left over handles and sheaths, so the orders were accepted and then the materials were made. Because of this, it might not be as easy as just changing handle colors to get your order sooner. Just because some colors aren't ready may not mean there is a surplus of others. I don't really know anything for sure, but I don't want anyone getting their hopes up.

Give me a few more days. I have a rough idea of what we have left over, but the numbers are very small and I don't want to over promise anything. Once we have all of the not black canvas orders fulfilled I can get exact numbers.
 
If you guys have left over 5\5.1 handles will you let us know? Ide like a set of green or camp or black canvas for my old 5.1

You can still order them on the site. It said 2 months but mine were here much sooner then that.

Edit: I ordered my 5.1 scales on Aug 14 and 4.1 scales on the 23 they were both in box and shipped to me out of the Survive! shop on the 25 of August.

^^^Sweet turn around time!

I wouldn't be surprised if they did some kind of last call before closing orders on old spec handles and sheaths.
 
Got my email from my 5/2 order. This Gso 5 will be my fourth one. To bad Survive now has new designs and finishes on their knives. Looks like I'll have to buy a few more.

Wow! Thanks for the offer. I will graciously decline and pass to manofsteel. I would prefer green. I know, I know... I am picky. I have all orange scales and green for all my GSOs except the 5.1
 
Was the wait long? Yes.

Was it worth it? OH HELL YES!

In my experience, there is only one other custom knife maker that makes crazy sharp edges like Guy. (That is AA Forge) I think I can sharpen ok, and I cannot get an edge to match what guy does out of the factory. Other than that, the rest of the knife is simply amazing. The simplicity of the design, the amazing attention to all the little details and the immaculate build quality make this tool something I will treasure for years to come. There are a lot of nice knives that are similar to S!. None of them are nearly as good, and that is a fact.

Thank you S! for making such an awesome knife. I will be buying more.

awesome looking set!! i will also agree to the crazy sharpness of both brands, sharpest knives i have ever used

NC, I love your outlook. Great assessment of your new tool. Nice pair you have. What color are the handles? Burgundy linen?
