Who has medfords?

Im up to 3 Medfords now and love them. Next I want a Colonial... then one of the new Midi Marauders... then an Infraction... maybe a General

Has anyone laid hands on a Gigantes yet? I know it's still relatively new to production, but he's definitely sold some.

How many of you who own Praetorian's actually carry them and use them. Not this "i carry it for a day then carry another knife" or "i use it to cut paper three times". Actually use and carry the knife day in day out for at least a few month? Just curious who actually totes around 8-9+ oz daily

Idk I'll let ya know in a few months... I just got this stealth praetorian a few weeks ago. It's relative slim so it carries real nice in pocket. Nothing I hate more then a bulky knife that presses into my leg and bulges out of the pocket. I'm used to carrying a strider SMF cc, so I hardly notice the extra 2oz. Love the pocket clip, it holds the knife in pocket really good!
As for cutting I haven't put it to good use yet. Opened a few packages, stripped a few wires, and sliced some rope. It's worked well so far. Im not much of a tanto fan but I don't mind this one. The way you hold it the front edge acts like your belly. Like I said I only been using it for a couple weeks, but I'm dead set on putting it threw its paces, will update.

Custom MKT Gigantes in 3V blade steel. Stainless steel hardware and flamed titanium handle slabs. Flips like a dream.

^^^That is beautiful 9Nine, congrats! I haven't gotten into the Medford game yet but when I do I think the Gigantes will be the first one. I love long folders like that. So I would guess that you would recommend the Gigantes? I think I want to get one with a Black PVD blade but I have yet to see one... I love the anodized scalloped handles that he does sometimes as well. What kind of wait time did you have?

I waited about 8 months for mine. I absolutely recommend the Gigantes. I am trying to sell this one, but that's not due to any QC issues, it's just life happening. It's definitely a nice turn away from the classic brick of a knife Praetorians, which aren't my cup of tea. This is a pocket sword that flips like a dream and cuts.

I got this 187 DPT a little while back and thought it was horribly ugly, not ergonomic, and just plain stupid. It sat on my desk for about a week until I finally decided to throw it in my pocket and I've gotta admit that I am impressed. I am a teacher so in the summer I do a ton of odds jobs like yard work and other manual labor to fill in the gap between semesters and my knives get some good use during that period. I like a knife that slices but can also be used to chop small branches and bushes as needed. Well this thing can do both really well. It has a very fine edge and the thickness behind the edge is really thin as well while maintaining the thickness and heft at the spine for some chopping performance. It just works. My previous two knives for this job were the Spyderco Bradley and PM2 that are pictured. They slice a little better but the chopping power of the Medford is hard to beat. Note that I'm not chopping down trees or anything so don't think that I'm being rediculous talking about the chopping power of a folder. My only complaint about the Medford is that I have had rust issues as can be seen in the pictures. I use a tuff glide cloth but it hasn't helped a ton. The weather has been in the upper 90's with high humidity so the knife gets really sweaty which doesn't help. Sorry for the long post lol
