Who has some O1 goodness to share?

Nice little BHK patch knife, Sarah!

Thanks! It's just plain really cool.

Looking good!

Try as I may the patina just is not forming well on my Oeser.

Hunh. All I have to do is think about patina on my Terrio, and boom, there it is. (I haven't been able to bring myself to use-use the BHK yet.) Hunh.

I just ordered some O1 stock for some knives I have planned to make. I can't wait to try it out. Picked up some great stag and jigged bone also, so with any luck I will make my first slip joints soon.

Chris

Sounds very promising! I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

I too like that patch knife. Might make a good pocket knife. ;)

This Teardrop/Bullet End looks Fantastic! I really need to look into getting a knife from Jared. I love his use of handle materials with traditional folder design. The Bullet end in one of my favorites.

My contribution to the thread - The Tool by JK Knives. 5" drop point w/ironwood handles. Love this knife.

Looking very nice Trey, ill try to get an updated pic very soon! That truly is one of the only bullet jacks with a spear blade that I like, not bulbous and I love that it does not have a nail nick. Keep up the great work with that guy

The only O1 blade I have is a Trail Hiker by Dan Eastland, apprentice to Andy Roy. Great knife, feels great in hand with a nice scandi edge. The O1 gets scary sharp and keeps the edge really nice, this is probably my go to outdoor knife with the A2 BR gunny following close behind.

All 01 but the one in the middle which is 1095.

Twenty years ago, I paid a Sheffield cutler for a FB in O1, never got the knife :(

Thanks to Meako, this week :)

I've certainly found mine very pocketable, and prefer pocket carry to belt carry for it (carry for this one being limited to around the house and garden though). As my most expensive knife to date (with shipping included) I'm very pleased with the quality, although I find myself wishing I had one with a thinner blade, closer to the thickness of my Mora Hunter. Actually, if the blade thicknesses were swapped around on these two that would probably be perfect!

Since this pic it's developed some spotty patina from being used in the kitchen.
