Who has weird, strange and/or embarrassing names in their family?

I was the best man for a L. Heyman. Now, you have to go out of your way to do that one wrong, but he and his whole family do- it's pronounced "Hymen".

That one's good, but this one is better. A good friend, Ben Keaster, married Marie Bigger. You can't make this stuff up, folks. She didn't hyphenate, but she did keep her maiden name as middle name. Marie Bigger Keaster.

I have a great grandmother whose name was Cleo Patra Zwingle. On the other side of the family there was a tradition way back of naming kids after famous folks, so there is a George Washington Tutor, Abraham Lincoln Tutor, John Wilkes Booth Tutor (shityounot) and so on. My sister married a guy with the last name of Drdul (pronounced 'droodle') and her hyphenated Tutor-Drdul is fun to say out loud.

Back in the 3rd grade, was a girl named Dimples Crum..cute as button, and lovely eyes.Forward to my time in the Army,in my BCT company was Pvt. Major Adams..didn't look a thing like Ward Bond though.
On a more boring note,I'm the 5th generation to carry the name Robert.

My grandmother named her sons, Julies Lighfoot Todd, Liberty Bond Todd and last but not least my Father, long since deceased, Francis Byron Todd. She named my uncle Liberty Bond because he was born during WWI and someone paid her a liberty bond if she named him that, He was called L.B. all his life and no one really knew his name except family. My other uncle went by J.L. Todd and again no one outside the family knew the real name.

there was a latenight tv special on a couple years ago (I have no idea which network anymore) but they were doing a show about the worst names people could have and interviewing those people. The only one that stuck with me was "Jack Hoff"

Have an older cousin named Dutchie. Worked with a guy a few years ago named John Smith. Graduating class of 365 students, two were name John Large(they were cousins). My brother has a friend named Bill who has an older brother named Bill(no lie).

Grandfather's Brother: Otha (moonshiner)
Grandmother: Marge
Uncle: Bernice (WWII vet & general hardass- smart people didn't make jokes about his name)

Once waited on a whole huge family of kids when I was selling shoes while in school- all of the boys had names like: Creon, Breon, etc. - all the way up to & including Rayon & Freon.

I had a customer once called Aden Dover, his brother was called Ben. He did not have a sister called Eileen though.
There is a second hand car yard down the road called Mike Hunts used Cars

My Grandparents came up with some doozies for some of their 14 kids. Triplets named Melvin, Elvin, and Melzine (called Zeenie)
Sons Ersie, Ivan Zelmo, Chock, Sylvester Leroy. (called Uncle Fudge)

Step dad was named Helmer Orlando

Used to repair copiers back in the late 70's. Got occasional calls from a city councilman named Dick Eudaly, and an old proctoligist named Mal Rumph.:D

Have you guys ever heard of a tradition to keep the middle name of the eldest son the same, generation to generation? I worked for a guy whose middle name was Finus as was his father and grandfather and on and on. He sort of hung his head when he told me that he broke the tradition with his son.

Yep, my grandfather, father, myself and my son all have the same middle name.
