I am not lashing out but I don't think many people realize this is a Bob Lum designed knife based on his Forester model. The blade shape and handle shape are very true to his original design along with the hole in the blade.When some of these critics calling the design ugly or stupid start designing knives that are hugely popular and valuable their criticism will be valid.

Agreed there is a comparison pic with the original and it is true to form. Looking forward to it

FWIW I've had one for a couple of weeks now and like it a lot. The only con I have with it is that I'd like to have seen BM go with a little thicker steel for the blade. Other than that mine came very sharp, tight, smooth and feels a good deal smaller than it actually is. Very nice knife!

Nice knife. I for one would rather not have a hole in my blade even though it's a Lum and all.

No offense to anyone who "hearts" this blade or Bob Lum who I regard warmly.

I like it, like the size too maybe a bit bigger 5.5 blade or something. Depending on price might try and pick up 2.
