Wanted to contact Chuddy, Pirtle, and now Rainwalker, and none are open for new orders... but thanks for all the other suggestions here. I’m sure I’ll find someone good to build me a custom sheath!

I'm about two months deep on CPK sheath orders and don't have anything like the stock of Busse models other makers have but I may be able to help you out. Hit me up if you'd like.

Dwayne, is the list of Busse in house on your site up-to-date? I was noticing a lot of old school stuff there. At least, old school for this piglet. :oops:

What is your current backlog like?

I have at least 4 of your sheaths and they are all awesome, btw. All have come to me 2nd hand, however.

I build a custom wet molded sheath for Busse Knives. I offer a leather sheath made from USA 6 ounce veg tanned leather wet molded to fit your knife perfectly with excellent retention and about half the weight of a similar kydex sheath with tek lok. My sheaths have a low profile design and come with a 1 1/2" belt loop that keeps your knife from flopping or swaying on your belt. Current lead time is about 1 week. I offer a lifetime no nonsense warranty on every sheath. If it ever fails to perform I will replace it free of charge.

I haven't updated that thing in a while, sold a bunch off (Daughter in school equals no toys for Daddy) Nothing new since before OTW. I do have a few patterns set for a couple of the new knives that generous owners sent in (Thanks again to everyone who has!) :D
I'm not sure of my wait time as my boss is asleep, not rousing that bear :p I'll get it asap I can tell you its rather short.
 
Thanks for the info, gentlemen! Azula, I did not forget about you! I like what someone said earlier about how your sheaths have “give” that allows one with his blade out to crouch or sit without that feeling that something is poking or pushing on your side. I plan to try a big sheath from you soon.

Dwayne, I am a new Dad, just four months into it, and I already started to feel the sting. I am thinking we will buy a little property in Montana and start a ranch instead of sending my little guy off to college. Ergo, I am investing in knives rather than putting the extra $ into a college fund. :D

Say Grog, your inbox here happens to be full. I’m dying to throw some ideas your way, and if it means waiting a few months I don’t really mind. I am wanting something for a project that is special to me and is still in the works for a bit, anyway. But I’ve already said too much.
