ha!! Yeah, they can get just as addictive as blades. Im set with my RA twisty, and my zebralights, thanks to you.... ;)
 
I have a red one, two blue ones, two silver ones, and a black one. Got an orange one on the way. If you've got a TJ Maxx near you, they're selling the Farmers in red and blue for $18 a piece.

I know...I recently introduced myself to the world of non-maglite flashlights recently (starting with fenix and surefire)...that's a dangerous one for my wallet...:)
 
I ended up ordering four (two blue and two red as I already had two silver) back then using the code I posted. The cost per knife was just under $16 each +shipping.

I'm carrying one of the red ones quite a bit now. :D

i have been thinking about getting one and sending it to somone to put some nice wood on the handle. i have one right now, but i would like to keep this one in alox.
 
Oh great keeper of the farmer, I just got a red one but could still use a blue one ;). I can't seem to find one using my GPS. Could you PM me directions to the Farmers Market?:D

Ok, help me out, please. What makes the Farmer model, specifically, so useful to the WSS crowd?
 
The thicker blades then normal SAKs, IMO the perfect combo of tools, great weight, robust scales, wonderfull price. Hands down my favorite folder, maybe even my favorite knife of all time.
 
Farmers are great gifts and trading stock, so you really can't have too many. I keep two - one in my "bag" and one I got in trade from someone who seems to still be buying them;), which will go into a "car bag" to remain in the vehicle.

The thicker blade, as mentioned. The saw is very useful as well, and the awl/punch makes a great striker for a firesteel and allows you to save your edge on the main blade.
 
Maybe one day I'll look at getting one. My sak "collection" consists of a Classic and ........ I think that's it, hehe :eek:
