Who ordered their anorexic Boss Streets???

both? get a CABS and fogeddaboutit.

it'll be 4-6weeks anyway (so I heard from Lexi as well).

I was in the same boat. Someone made a very good point though... how often do you get to pick up a Busse with no choil?

I want both. But for now, I ordered the CABS. I'm debating throwing down for the LCABS still.

That is a very good point. Oh man, this is a tough call!

This will be a birthday present to myself as I've been wanting a good bushcraft knife for quite some time but couldn't settle on something. After seeing these I thought, "Well, that just seems perfect."

I just can't decide if I will miss having a choil. :o

I may be wrong in my assumption, but my thoughts in ordering the CABS was that if I really, really want a large choil in the future I can just send it back to the shop and have one ground in.

The opposite isn't an option if I got the LCABS.

Sorry, one more question.

For those of you that have ordered, what do you plan to use as a sheath?

Why MC kydex of course, like all my others. :D

I've been considering sending some of them to Chuddy Bear though. My F1 is in a leather sheath and I love it too.

I'm debating between a typical leather drop-loop sheath and a kydex with some kind of a pocket clip.

I'm curious about this. Why a drop loop for a 4 inch knife?

I always assumed the drop loop would be exclusive to the mid-large to large sized knives.

CABS is on the way. Thanks for helping me with the decision!

I am really excited for my first Busse.

I'm gonna get this one from David Brown- if I hear back from him.
The CABS looks so pretty it'll go great with my tie @ work :) and be plenty subtle with only a couple inches of handle sticking out...I hope.

True, but how often do you see a sub 4" Busse with a USABLE choil? :D

Jeez - looks like 99% went for choiless!!!

I'm awaiting a CABS model.... should be the perfect deer size hunting or bushcraft blade!! YES!!! BRING IT TO PAPA!

oh and Amy told me i got # 19 and 20, went in piglet style and jumped over some hogs :D

I have a CABS coming, and it is my first Busse knife ever. Lexie(?) tells me that my number is 111. Is that low? high? in between?
Heck, I did not even know they HAD numbers when I ordered. :)

I just ordered because I wanted a hell for stout knife for bumming around in the woods.

I got #84 on the CABS-ride!
I asked about handle options and the reply was "no options".
So my guess is, they'll be "as is".

How did all you guys learn your #?

I ordered off the site, got the automated order confirmation email, but no info regarding my knife #.

And here I thought Amy liked me. :(

:p:rolleyes:;)

I asked for a specific one via email and got confirmation from Amy that it was mine (#420). Just that easy! ;)

What's the difference between the three knives anyway. Is it the blade thickness?

The difference is the size of the choil...large (L.C.A.B.S.), small (S.C.A.B.S.), or none (C.A.B.S). All will have approximately the same blade thickness. :)

I always assumed the drop loop would be exclusive to the mid-large to large sized knives.

The drop loop would be for using the knife as a bushcrafter. It's just an old habit... my woods knives have always been in drop loop sheaths.

resinguy, I just called their phone number, and asked the nice lady what my number was. All she needed was my name. Took her all of 15 seconds to tell me the answer.

would the reduction in blade thickness produce a reduction of bending strength which is a strong point for busse knives?
