Who Scored a Tiger?

Watching the "Action" at the store makes it apparent that people are using bots to purchase everything that changes in the store for certain time periods. The bots can't distinguish what item is what, so as soon as something changes, they add to the cart.

That causes an item to become out of stock, which causes an new item to roll to the first page and the process repeats. That is why you see every knife be bought up and then when people review the basket and start throwing the unwanted items back, it refills the inventory.

However the new inventory recreates the problem for the bot, so it gets ugly fast.

All I wanted was one Tiger...

Frankly, this is becoming a lot of BS IMHO. How can I compete against an multiple indiscriminating programs that will stay up all night grabbing everything that gets "thrown back?"

This is not complaining.

What it is, is a completely accurate analysis of the current situation.

I was wondering what was going on with that as well. either bots or pranksters! but the way those ak and war boars keep going in and out (less than 15 minute intervals too) really makes ya wonder.

I was just wondering about something. You know how skunk said that the baskets would empty out after 15 minutes and put the items back into inventory? How's it possible then that I scored a fish scales the other night almost 4 hours after the melay was over?

Whatever it is, bots or Hog games, it is certainly disappointing.

But no regrets here.

the ak-47 and war boar are changing places on the first page so fast I think its almost gotta be a bot. well, a bot + truthseeker maybe! :)

looks like it might be over with now though.

LOL- That kind of Bot can be dealt with...

My Busse AK and a Phillips screwdriver should do the trick.

I'll tell you why mine did it.

I got too happy on the trigger and clicked real quick-like on whatever popped up. Then, when the page reloaded, it sends the same click to the site again.:thumbdn: As soon as the goodies stop popping up, I go in and dump the basket. I would imagine I'm not the only one doing this, though. Seems to be all part of the frenzy, to me. :D

Edited to add: I've actually been off the BCS for 10 or so minutes now, so it's not me this time! :D

something similar happened to me too. I had a war boar in the cart before I even realized it! that one is nice but not what I was looking for.

It must be a bot. What retard would buy out all the small and med blk/gld lanyards?

heh. while its disappointing that I havent been able to score a tiger stripe it is nice to know that I'm not the only one still refreshing refreshing refreshing refreshing etc.

Interesting theory, but without evidence, it is still just a theory. I work for a living with computers and I have no idea how to use bots. That may be because that is not really what my job is, but the point I'm trying to make is that I think one has to have a fairly high level of sophistication in the computer world to do what you have suggested is going on.
