I'm going to keep trying the old fashioned way for a Tiger GW.....persistence usually will pay off in the long run. I agree that there should be "NO REGRETS!!!!" I don't hold it against anyone that scored one or more GW's this evening; that's the way the game is played. If I can't get one and really want one to complete the collection, I'll pay a bit more or hopefully trade for it with one of the other Busse's that I collected over the past year.

regarding perseverence I totally agree. Its just that, assuming that someone is using a bot, it would be nice to have a level playing field. I figure there is someone running software or a child of loki with way too much time on his hands.

A lot of folks get multiple knives so they can use one and put one back.

Others get multiple knives for trade fodder so that they might finally get some of the older Busses they haven't been able to snag. If I hadn't gotten extra SMOGs, I never would have scored that Meaner I just posted recently.

Seems to me that the attitudes of folks have gone from NO REGRETS to too much whining about the system. If it ain't broke.....

I will concede, however, that bots, if they exist and are being used, are another story. I don't know beans about bots, but I wish there were a way that the system could block them. If you ain't gotta work for your INFI, then it just doesn't seem fair.

Well mate thats my opinion and I am sticking to it. Just seem that its whoes got the most money and fastest computer wins and guys who might want a knife to actually use miss out.
 
If a bot was snatching up all the loot, how did I get an orange warden? From where I'm sitting, it looked like I just refreshed, there it was, clickyclicky, and PAYOW!!! OJ is in da house!

Although, I could very well be posessed by the bots and not know it. :eek:

I will also formally admit to being bored and seeing, for example, how many ak47's are in stock. Not today, but I have done it before... What can I say, the bug bit me! :D
 
With all the F5ing going on, how long till we see banner ads on the company store order page?

(If you do that Skunk I want a percentage for the idea!)

I don't agree. I've scored Busses on a sluggish dialup connection. Timing and a quick hand can make all the difference.
 
Yep, I snagged and threw back 2 OJGW tonight... not bot necessary. Unfortunately, I wasn't fast enough (yet) to snag a tiger, though I had one in my sights once.

I think this is fast and persistent hogs, not nasty bots.







Nasty, dirty, filthy bots, my precious... we smells the filthy, greedy little bots, precious. ;)

no software would be able to catch them all and, if a person is using a bot, they obviously would not be buying all that were listed either.

I think now is a good time to reiterate that I don't believe this is definitely what is going on. its just a definite possibility.



or maybe its just skunk toying with us!!! :eek:

I have enough of both to get the job done. I fought tooth and nail tonight yet only scored one TGW. F5'd like crazy. Saw 'em, clicked 'em, but missed. Just the way the cookie crumbles. Trust me, I wanted more! Anyone else hear the site groaning under the pressure of HOGS tonight?? The site got all slow, refresh was like mud. LOL

Well I spent the last three hours, besides watching the battle at BCS, wet molding my Orange GW to it's sheath.

So overall, a productive use of my time if not my credit card.:rolleyes:
 
Yeah, luck helps. I've missed plenty of Busses, and I've been skunked on the last two Extravaganzaaaas. But I ain't complainin'.

As for me... One reason I grabbed more than one tiger hide tonight is that I want to find another red G-10 (and possibly one or two other colors). Keep your eyes peeled to the Trade Forum in a week or so.

I agree about Bots though. If they are in fact screwing with the system, I wish we could find the responsible parties and enforce an INFI ban. :thumbup:

I also agree that it could just be hungry HOGs, however. I've seen INFI go a lot faster than it did tonight.
