Just gave the edges on this a touch up, oiled the joints. You don't get a better slicer than these.

I still carry a Case knife on occasion. In fact, I actually carried FOUR of them last week!
Two were from the chestnut jigged bone CV series, my favorite Case series.
Sod Buster Jr (a GAW from the late BigBiscuit ) and
Sowbelly stockman (a surprise Christmas gift from the late Ron Half/Stop ):


I also carried a rough black Sod Buster Jr and a brown sawcut Barlow:

Yes, the significance of the Lion rampant with sword is that it is the heraldic symbol of Finland.

All countries in the Eurozone can put their symbols or designs on the reverse of the coins 5 cent, 10, 20, 50c 1€ 2€ and various special low mintages. Those backward countries with monarchs in the eurozone have to put the boring head of their monarch on their € coins (NL, Belgium, Spain) whereas the rest of us have a freer hand. The Greeks for instance, have the Ancient Greek Athena Owl on their Euro coin and very beautiful too.
