Who still carries a Case Knife?

I figured it was you that pictured it... super cool display. 🤠

A little Jack & Zero, and a little Case CV "Kickstart" to breach the paper on a fresh can of long cut Cope this beautiful morning.

Life is good...

How do you like your Kickstart? I have one and want to like it so much but the blade wobbles all over the place in both directions. But the thumb stud with pocket clip is a winner. Maybe I just got a bad one.

Regrettably, (*and I hate to post this in a dedicated "Case" thread)

The above knife does have a bit of blade wobble. My Kickstart "Mid Folding Hunter"? Fuggedaboutit. I can move the blade 10* in either direction, portside or starboard, at full lock.

I'm not sure that the name "Case" is what it once was. My Bucks, of similar design and function, make my Cases seem "flimsy" by comparison.

Your mileage may vary...

I'm usually pretty happy with my Case knives - the kickstart is the only one I've bought in the last few years that I would describe as a lemon. I tried tapping the bolster at the pivot to tighten it up, which worked for a little while, but it loosened right back up.
