The “Doctor’s Knife” pattern doesn’t seem to get a lot of love—except among niche collectors—but I have always found them to be elegant. When Case brought it out of “the vault” a few years ago I grabbed a single-blade variant in smooth natural bone (the appropriate cover for this knife, IMHO). It is my preferred going-out-to-eat knife.
