Got a couple of these Whalers. Took the bail off one to make it easier to carry in a pocket. Both have Walnut covers one much darker than the other. The one with the bail removed a 4-Dot manufactured in 1976 the one with the bail a 6-Dot manufactured in 1974.

Thanks Leon. The darker one isn't so dark from handling as it was NOS (new old stock) when I got it and I've never carried or used it.. It's just dark.
